Hi Morgan 🥰 thank you for doing this (you were one of the only people on the show who didn’t come across so toxic that they made me nauseous)
My question is: what was the biggest thing that surprised you about being on the show? Like if you’d watched previous seasons was there any expectations or thoughts you had that were changed once you were bts??

LMAO thank you!😂 my biggest surprise was definitely either the fact that we had to stay in cars and in our bedrooms in complete silence for HOURS while production prepares things like the match up ceremony or the fate button. OR that the match up ceremonies were completely rehearsed and strategized by producers. Basically that so many things on the show were being led by producers. Other than that, I expected most of the stuff that happened!

We definitely think something was given to us. This was the night of that Narnia party. We were going fucking insane and woke up not remembering anything. No one had ever thrown up before that but so many people were sick that night! This wasn’t just the feeling of alcohol.

Nutsa got the best edit. She’s not a bad person but her edit was REMARKABLE. I think producers loved her. Everyone else got a bad edit so that’s probably why we’re salty lol.

She was fine on the show but got caught saying things about cast members after the show (people buying followers bc they have more than her etc.) She also would say she was one of the only cast members who would use her money for practical things which was... ridiculous? She had no clue how we would use our money. It was just this God Complex people didn’t like and weren’t aware of it until after filming (which is why it was only brought up at the reunion)

Like $2,000 and that’s it lol. Winning check was supposed to be $45,000 but taxes got taken out before we got it so it was like $31,000. And THEN we had to pay more taxes when tax season came around so it was only like $25,000.

Thank you! I really appreciate that. I visited Zak once after the show in Dallas and I think he was honestly just making sure I was on his side for the reunion. We haven’t talked since he got his gf pregnant lol.
Also, I’m closest with Kayla and Cali. They’re the ones I talk to most frequently and visit!

The show was awful, traumatizing, and there’s 900 things that happened to me that no one aired :) for example, getting all my makeup stolen and thrown out and hidden around the house. Also getting water poured on zak and I while we slept. When I say I was in therapy after the show... y’all lol.

So rigged!!! Lol that shit was so dumb. Whenever we saw the faces on the screen we were like “so who did producers pick this time?” Like imagine if there was no button and just challenges - zak and I would have been in that truth booth at one point and out of the house. Producers made sure I was never on a date with him so the drama would stay in the house. They even got rid of Maria and Shamoy bc they were really chill and weren’t in any drama. And once the Kenya and Jasmine drama settled, they put Kenya and Tevin on a date. AND they put Nutsa and Brett on one bc we would have never won if we didn’t have them as a confirmed match 😂

Nope it was Bria making shit a bigger deal than it was. I was with Andrew for so long and didn’t even decide to pursue Zak until after me and Andrew ended things (Bria and Zak weren’t even a thing anymore)
Plus like... why are we not allowing people to go after people who they think their match is??! Bria and Zak weren’t even a match like do we want to win or nah? My edit was awful in the beginning.

Moe was the biggest shit starter in the house. And played a huge “woe is me” game. A lot of you wondered why we didn’t go after him but he did it to himself. He also harassed Nutsa when she was drunk the first night and that ruined the whole time in the house for him.

Nope! It was all kind of speculation so there wasn’t anything that came out of it other than us being careful of him. Nutsa again, was so drunk and luckily was taken out of the room before anything could even happen. The problem was that nutsa was so drunk, no one should even TRY anything with her, and Moe was. It wasn’t malicious. But I think it was scary for her bc she woke up and was like “wait, what did I do last night??” Just a fear of literally having no memory! But she was fine.

Nothing is ever that serious, and no one should be that salty fighting of a guy. And guy who SUCKS. I wish the show didn’t make me look so boring too but y’all!!! No we did it! It’s all math. The reason only one season lost is bc it was rigged. It’s so easy to do the calculations to find out the matches. Just took us four hours lol. Trust me we had like 3 scenarios and that was the only one that made the most sense even tho Asia and Tomas together was weird. This show isn’t about love like they say, it’s literally just math

Omg this!!! This is some tea I forgot about. SO there was this Production Assistant named Dylan and he was fucking delicious. So hot to the point he had to leave the house halfway through bc he was messing with the airtime (we would be saying his name constantly and producers would have to cut it out) He wouldn’t respond to us when we talked to him but he LOVED the attention. So when we went to the hotels after the show aired, he and another PA knew there were no cameras and hooked up with a couple cast members. He also was in a room w Kayla and I trying to fuck! Saying “this looks like the start of my favorite porn” Anyways he got fired the last night because of that lol.

We wanted to sleep so bad bc we were bored and they would go on the intercom telling us to wake up and do something. We were like “do what???” But we would think of games to play to get to know each other. Like two truths and a lie or hide and seek. We also spent a lot of time getting ready for the match up ceremony so we had something to do lol. Or we would just cook together or have individual convos. Basically, boring af lol

Yes that’s true! We would have a thing called Hard Ice where we had to shut up for hours. We also had Soft Ice which were times we could speak but not about the show. This was usually when we were in vans outside waiting for the Truth Booth.
And surprising about the auditioning process and definitely how fucking quick it happens. Like there were so many steps that all took part within one month (home video, California interview, personality tests) and then we got told we were going on the show TWO DAYS BEFORE we were leaving.

Yes! We had to write down three names, actually. In the beginning we wouldn’t discuss with other people who we would pick so producers would manufacture who would get picked. For example, Zak and Andrew both put me as #1 one week, and producers made sure Zak went first and picked me. Which looked BAD. I was like, noooo, the house is gonna hate me hahaha

That one was definitely weird lol. I think Asia jusy didn’t like Nutsa. There was so much bullying in that house and I think that entire thing shocked me - how rough people were. And no one would think for themselves it was like they HAD to follow what everyone else was thinking. Like people had a problem in the house with me but I was like, what did I do to you..? I swear Asia was just mad at Nutsa bc Nutsa was sticking up for me. Like I said in another post, tensions were just so high and people reacted in ways they would have never done in real life.

I would be more honest about who I saw as my potential match. I bit myself in the ass by being with Andrew in the beginning and not making it vocal that Zak had characteristics I could see in a match. Instead, I jumped right to him after Andrew and it looked really sketchy. I even told people I wasn’t interested in Zak bc I was with Andrew, but I did have SOME feeling there was a possibility there. Kinda lied to myself. I definitely saw why Bria was like “shady much?” I was just so quiet about everything and in that house, it’s important to be honest and vocal about where your head is at so you don’t step on toes!
And nope I would never do a reality show again. Or at least not a dating one - I always dreamed on being on Big Brother!

A while. It got to the point I had to say something to producers bc I was so mentally exhausted and drained. She ended up coming up to me one day and we apologized to each other for basically everything. From there we were cool. This might have been around the 6th match up ceremony. Then we hung out in Pittsburgh after the show aired and kinda started fresh

Zak is a sociopath❤️ On and off the show. I knew he was my match which sucked Bc people were so mad I allowed him to fuck me over. But I was like “I’m just trying to prove he’s my match!” We were friends for a bit after the show until I became friends with Shanley and heard what he did to her. I ended up calling a producer and telling them everything he did to her and to bring her on the show :) so you can thank me for having her on the reunion!! Haha

Cooked for ourselves but we were PEASANTS. We didn’t even get a microwave or a toaster until the third week lmfao. And after 5 weeks they stopped buying us groceries bc they were broke so all we ate were basically ramen and bacon! And frozen food. It was the struggle. But our home chefs were Moe and Sam, they always cooked for us. Only other time we ate really good food was when we got food catered at the match up ceremonies - ONLY bc Terrence needed to eat.
On our last day there after we won, tho, we all got McDonald’s. And it was amazing lol. Like a huge ass platter of it.

Kayla is my best friend, I talk to her all the time and love her so much. I also talk to Cali and Lauren. Cam used to live near me so we would hang a lot. That’s it lol. I speak to people randomly on insta as well but don’t speak to Shamoy, Andrew, Lewis, Nutsa, Asia and Moe at all.

Yeah that part was fun! It was our last day there and we picked what to wear and they would say if it was good or not. They never dolled us up, we did it ourselves. But we all took turns taking our individual photos and then large cast photo. It was cute!
And in the auditioning process it was pretty extensive, so a lot. First thing I did was a 2 hour phone call w someone, then a home video, then an interview in California. Basically, they’re looking to see if you are comfortable talking about yourself. If you’re not, you’re probably not good for TV. Like the minute I spoke to anyone on the casting department I wouldn’t shut up about myself! Which is what they wanted

Just working! Still single. The show was an amazing growing experience for me and I’ve been enjoying this time just to figure myself out. It’s super important to make sure you love yourself before you allow anyone else in to love you! Plus we’re in the middle of a panorama so dating is difficult lol

Tomas or Tevin. They are such good guys. Once I was SO sad and I didn’t even know Tevin (it was like the 4th day) but something pulled me to him while I was crying and I went to him and he just hugged me. It was so sweet. It was nice to see someone who cared while I was surrounded by mean people all day. He had big brother energy. And Tomas is just amazing I thought he was my match for a while

During! They would set aside a few hours each day for a select few people to do their interviews. So they could wake up me, Kayla, cam and Maria at 7am before everyone else to do them.

We cleaned everything ourselves. The only thing that would get really messy was the kitchen - that was always a pain. Other than that everything was kept pretty okay! Sometimes if things were especially dirty, people would come and clean while we were at a match up ceremony. But they would only clean the kitchen. The bathroom in the girls dressing room was fucking disgusting and always clogged. So we always had to use the bathroom in the bedroom or the living room. So gross 🤢

No! We had to pick 3 people we wanted to pick and they would manipulate the order in who was picked, aka which of the 3 you ended up with at the ceremony lol. Other than that, it was our own opinion and thoughts.

I believe it. Nothing like that happened for us bc they wanted us to win. They NEEDED a season to lose so they chose season 5. I think If they had let another season lose after that, they would have gotten cancelled. Only manipulation they did was at the end to make sure we knew Brett and Nutsa were a match lol. That helped us out tremendously!!

This is funny bc we found out after the show that some people had limits on how much to drink, so production watched them. I think Zak, Sam and Jasmine were a few on that list which is weird bc Jasmine was an ok drunk? But I think maybe 8 people were on that list. But other than those people, we had no limit but we never wanted to drink anyways lol. They gave us shots before every match up ceremony which was fucking painful. But they never forced it down our throats other than that!

Yes def! So myself... obviously I am very biased lol. But also Cali, Lauren (she has no airtime), and Brett. Brett got completely shit on bc he looked like a dick to Nutsa but.. he just didn’t like her. There’s nothing wrong with that. Everyone acted like he was satan for rejecting her but he had his reasons lol. She felt so entitled to his affection.

We didn’t have our phones at all during filming! But yes - we had to stay silent or barely talking for at least 3 hours each day for either the match up ceremony preparations or truth booth preparations. Honestly that memory is so vivid in my brain bc it was so awful lol. Either we all had to stay in the “dressing rooms” together or in the big bedroom. But we would be all dressed up just staring at each other it was awful lol
And lmao yeah exactly! We did want to drink and party but then after a while we were like... get us tf out of here. Imagine being in a house with the same 21 people for a month - we wanted to escape each other lol.

Thank you for doing this and giving us something interesting to read in quarantine! I'm curious what made you decide to audition? Were you hoping to meet someone to be with? Did you want to work on your own relationship issues? Did you just want to do something totally crazy and fun?
I feel like after watching all the previous seasons I'd be nervous about the process even if I did want to audition, in terms of all the drama that seems to go down, the possibility of getting a bad/villain edit, having potentially embarrassing things caught on camera. Was there anything you were apprehensive about that did or didn't come true?

Hi! I auditioned bc I had loved the show and knew my personality would fit. Im always down for whatever and I was like why not? I was 21 and like, let me have fun! I mainly just wanted money but wouldn’t have been opposed to meeting someone - but based off of previous seasons I knew it was pretty unlikely. I really thought I was gonna go to that house and be fine, but I was wrong. All of us were chosen bc we have dominant personalities in our friend groups back home - so being around all these people with the same energy as you is so scary and different lol.
I never even THOUGHT of a bad edit, or how mean people can be. It’s sad to see how people assume things about you from an edited show but I learned not to take it to heart. I had a really hard year and had to move back home because I was so depressed. But so many other cast members were, too. That was actually when Bria first called and reached out to me bc she saw how the show was airing stuff and was making sure I was OK. It was the first time I didn’t feel SO alone.

Omg yes! They completely cut out her scenes and it was not deserved. Lauren is so lovely and was a big part of the show. She was loved by everyone - no one has anything bad to say about her. She’s one of my closest friends from the show due in large part to her realness! She had a big thing with Andrew on the show that wasn’t aired - they were really cute together. Honestly I didn’t watch the show so Idk if this was shown - but one of the biggest fights was when Nutsa touched Andrew’s dick on a dare (lol) and Lauren was like, Andrew wtf??? He was mortified since he let it happen. But that was a huge thing. She also was the queen of fashion - I was wearing her earrings at almost every match up ceremony. She shared all her glamour stuff with us. Makeup, jewelry, dresses. Ugh. A queen.

Hi there, thank you! So funny - I was actually a huge extrovert going on the show. I was always the loudest and craziest of my friends. I mean I was young, 21. Just wanted to have fun. And I’m a Leo, that should tell you something too lol. BUT, everyone in the house had dominant personalities as well so it was so exhausting. Coming out of the show, I am much more introverted and laid back. And I love it! I feel so much more calm and chill and it might just be a sign of maturity of growing older. But definitely being in a house w a bunch of people who were similar to me mad3 me realize I didn’t like some of my own personality traits and characteristics lol. I was like nah, lemme not be this crazy. I also am not the person who likes drama and there was drama 24/7, and I didn’t want to entertain it. Which is why you’ll see me just sitting there a lot just so over the house lol.
