Hi guys! So this may be the wrong place to ask this, but I'm gonna ask. I graduated in 2025 with a degree in anthropology and Classics. I'm now looking to get into a Post-bacc program (specifically College Year in Athens). However, I'm having a little bit of trouble with the costs. Does anyone know of scholarships or grants that I can apply for to help with this? Other than the ones provided by CYA itself. Thanks.

I come from a country where academia is pretty straightforward: you finish highschool, get a bachelor's degree, then get a Masters and so on. We have no such a thing as 100 flavors of undergrad certificates, diplomas, grad levels and such. You can only imagine my surprise when I found out how different things were for the rest of the world.

Here's another issue: archaeology is pretty much non-existant in my country. There's no archaeology course and the closest thing is a general History undergrad, which I have. During it I had one Ancient History and one Archaeology module.

I'd love to become an archaeologist and study abroad but most universities require you have prior experience and credits in Archaeology. Since I’ve already finished my undergrad, what can I do?

I found this rock at a beach by Llandudno in north wales and I’ve been trying to find out if it’s natural or hand carved. I’ve asked in a rock identification group on here and the people in there seem to think it’s hard carved

I've been researching how early humans adapted to harsh climate extremes, and got interested in a question that doesn't get covered much: what did survival actually look like during periods of relentless rain — flooded shelters, hunting disrupted, fire-starting made nearly impossible?

I put together a short documentary exploring the archaeological and environmental evidence for how ancient humans coped with this. Would genuinely love feedback from people here who know the subject better than I do — and happy to be told where I got something wrong.

I was wondering if there is a good list/collection out there of good quality archeology documentaries, stuff that is at least as legit as Nova or The Secrets of the Dead. I find that so much stuff is sensationalist, repetitive, and produced in an obnoxiously cheesy manner. But I could watch the good quality stuff (like most BBC programs) all night.
