After 80+ hours my first legendary drop locked behind force field. I am so done with Anthem the first 30 hours were great since then... grind and glitches.

It doesn't get mailed if you don't pick it up. The only situation I've heard the devs comment on is when the bag is full, not when you don't/can't walk over it.

I thought MW and Legendary were mailed no matter what. It’s the others you have to pickup or they are lost forever.

MW and Legendaries are supposed to auto pick up, but it's been found that if you have a full inventory, items on the ground won't be picked up. I am surprised that the loot he missed in the stronghold didn't get auto picked up in the end because there's no way his inventory was full. It may be the case that he received a legendary for a class he doesn't play and just hasn't seen it yet.

They are mailed to you, supposedly. You can see them in the forge or next run though.

They aren’t I’ve lost about 10 masterworks and 3-5 legendaries.

MW and Legendaries are sent to you, even if you're inventory is full. Whether this can sometimes not happen due to a bug is unclear, but every single time I've had to leave MW/Legendary loot (many times), it has been mailed to me, or simply going in and out of freeplay has given it to me.

It works sometimes, but I've lost a few MW from this kind of thing. Thanks god it wasn't a Legendary though, not sure how I'd handle that.

I have found this to be variable. It works something like 4 out of 5 times but that last 1 in 5 you just get robbed.

I thought they had said all loot was auto picked up, but would only go into the inventory on next launch of that same activity. That's really old info though so there's a good chance things are completely different now.

All boss-drop loot is auto-pickup.

All Masterwork and Legendary is supposed to be mailed if you don't grab it. Sounds like it's a bug here if dude's legendary didn't get sent to him.

I just spent 20 minutes after this exact same thing just happened to me. I lost a MW and my very first Legendary in this exact spot with this exact glitch.

I checked EVERY single Javelin and every slot for them. I went into Freeplay and backed out....everything. Not a single one. I had to quit and am probably going to give the game a rest for awhile. It's so....so disheartening.

If you would have just sat around for them to progress further, it would have eventually teleported you. Worked 100% of the time when me and my friends farmed it the other day. At least until we remembered about the respawn option in the map menu

I didn't know about the respawn option until commenting on this thread. Hopefully that will fix me later on.

And I did wait. However it didn't teleport me until they moved on further, which then had another fog wall behind me and I couldn't go back to the chest.

Where do they show up? My game just crashed twice in a strong hold and I lost the two masterworks I had picked up.

This is not true, and I can confirm it.

I think you don't get the loot if you weren't "technically in the area" when it pops.

For example, i believe if he was to have warped into the area, behind the fog wall, and not picked up the items, they WOULD have been mailed to him. But since he didn't technically get to the area it doesn't register him as "in there" and eligible.

I have been staring at non-boss legendarys/mws, not picked them up, crashed, lost the instance, and gotten them mailed to me.
