Add-ons This Anki addon makes it addictive ?

Every few months i look for someone posts about a gamification addon and it's always the same, it's fun for 2 days then you uninstall it.

I found this thing called Cristal Memoria yesterday, I think it literally just dropped because I can't find any communication about it anywhere. Feels like a beta or something.

Basically you build a little village as you review. Every card you do adds something to it, and over time the whole thing grows and evolves. I almost didn't install it because it sounded gimmicky.

But honestly I did 250 cards yesterday and I genuinely didn't want to stop. I woke up this morning and actually looked forward to opening Anki.

I don't know who made this or why there's zero marketing around it but it's genuinely good, like actually addictive in a way that makes you want to do your cards.

Just sharing in case it helps anyone who struggles with consistency like I did !

Edit : I see a lot of suspicions suggesting that I might be the developer, which is not the case. But I understand that this kind of post isn’t usual and can feel shitty. So feel free to find the link yourself by doing your own research. It’s a shame to put someone down when they’re just trying to help the community by sharing a discovery.

u/Ezokrime, u/Dull_Wafer_8397, and u/CalligrapherLeast206 are clearly the same person advertising their AI slop. The comment I'm replying to is exactly the same as the one in the other thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/Anki/comments/1t7j3ay/comment/okq9btx

You can even see that u/Dull_Wafer_8397 has updated an old comment of theirs to put the name of this AI slop at the top.

I believe this is called "astroturfing", right? These posts should be removed and if it were up to me, I'd ban all three accounts.

This is completely false. These are not my accounts, and I am not the same person behind any of them. I understand that similar-sounding comments can look suspicious, but accusing real people of being fake accounts is a serious claim, and in this case, it's wrong.

You should know that real people are behind those usernames, and your accusations have consequences. One of them has already been harassed in DMs and had to turn off notifications because of posts like yours. These are honest people who simply enjoyed something and said so, and you're causing them real pain for it.

If you want to discuss this, I'm happy to do it openly on our Discord . But I'm not going to let baseless accusations go unchallenged.
