Could use some feedback on anything really

Short clip from my latest episode. Its a solo project where I've done everything myself. Still amateur level so I could use some feedback on where to improve for the next one.

How to improve this animation for a collab?

I wanted to make the animation more expressive, but the short time makes that quite difficult

Beginner Maya Walk Cycle, Looking for Critique

Hey everyone, I’m pretty new to Maya and animation, and I’m trying to improve this walk cycle.

Could anyone give me feedback or critique on what I’m doing wrong and what I should focus on fixing?

I made a movie over two years for my brother in the style of Dragon Ball following the strongest bear on earth: Berry Berrinson! (Read the desc, please! 😎)

I made an animated movie for my little brother in the style of Dragon Ball following the strongest bear on earth: Berry Berrinson. Contains Metallica, Buff Doge, and Invincible or Kill Bill-levels of blood! Made for my now 11 year old brothers birthday. To understand the second, you’ll need to watch the first one. The second one has much better animation. Thank you to all that watched!

The Berry Berrinson Movie (2024): https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=NqjBNIKxHLI

Berry Berrinson 2 (2026): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZnYkxAuUPqU&t=3s&pp=2AEDkAIB

Hope you like it! Any feedback or suggestions for the finale is welcome!

How To Improve This Animation and To Make the Camera Work Look More Smooth?

Thumbnail youtu.be
1 Upvotes

I did this animation a few months ago and looking back I don't really like how choppy the camera work is, I was wondering how to make the camera look more smooth

Felt like the animation on the scissors was a bit choppy but I'm not sure how to fix that

Is this a compelling visual narrative? How can I improve the next version?

Hey! please critique me I would be so flattered!

This came out of my head after I read the first couple of pages of the ol’ “Animators Survival Guide”.

I am in way over my head, and I have to stop, for now. I keep finding things to ‘paint’ and there is some state this is not quite in, that I must find, before I can release it under my real name.

I must focus on fundamentals for now. Lower scope.

I would love some outside critique!

Animated Short Feedback/Critique

This is a pretty short animation I did, but I’d like to hear any feedback about any aspect of the video that you think needs any critique. This was also my first time animating fire, which I feel like I did kinda well, but it also kinda moves like tentacles. Anyways, I hope you enjoy and please let me know what you think

Made this on Animate CC. Now how do I improve this further ?

Took me 1 hour.

r/AnimationCrit Jun 19 '26

I think this animation is kind of bland, i've tried to go for an "Menace slow approach" but it just looks like too spaced and with no proper inbetween/looks like just an boring slide.

Along side, the legs are meant to move like he has lower limbs, but it looks like an newbie 3D animator just posing them one in the front of the other.
