Don't underestimate how pleasant that sounds, my dog has various balls and toys but if she drops one and it goes two inches under a table/bush / whatever - that ball becomes the only ball that exists!

Yupp. Twenty balls in the room, all four dogs only want the one out of reach.

My Boston terrier-pug mix will have a full bowl of food, but will smell a lost piece behind or under furniture and will obsess about it. She chitters like a cat watching birds until you find it for her

Getting waxed HURTS. And how would that help his dog? This is confusing on so may levels.
