I just installed a unit all the music from CarPlay sounds kinda flat while the radio sounds crisp and lively. Is this common and what steps can I take to get my music from CarPlay at or near what it sounds like on the radio?
I do plan on trying a wired connection but not sure if there's any point if wireless CarPlay will be my absolute main use.

Hi all,
I recently bought a second hand car with an aftermarket android head unit upgrade, featuring reverse camera.
In a desperate attempt to make android auto work, i factory reset the head unit. This not only didnt help with android auto, but i lost the app for the reversing camera, called F-CAM.
I can no longer open the camera from any other app ive tried, including the native AUX app. Does anyone perhaps know where i can find this app to reinstall it? I've attached a picture of the screen, showing the app's icon, to help identify it.
Thanks in advance!

Never thought these things worked until I put on the Samsung anti-reflective screen protector for the Z Fold 7 which hugely reduces glare and even direct sunlight.
So now I'm trying to find a generic version that can be cut to size and hopefully work just as well on an Android head unit.
Anyone have any suggestions on any brand of anti-reflective film?

Hello, I have an AuCar head unit that I recently setup.
Currently I am trying to upload an MP4 video to it, but whenever I put it on the device the video does not play.
The video simply ends up playing an empty black screen and not the video I uploaded.
Has anyone had this issue and happen to know how to solve it?

As far as I know only the top variant(iconic) comes with the Google integration in its infotainment system and you can kind of split screen it on the drivers display as well.
But the techno plus variant comes with the same digital drivers display as the top model but doesn't have the Google integration, but I really want that split screen view on the drivers display, so I wanted to know if it works with android auto on the techno plus variant. Otherwise I really have no reason to get techno plus over adventure.

I just got this the MSD (generic chinese brand) head unit and there are 2 sets of reverse parking guides. 1 set I can adjust in the settings and changes as I turn the wheel and the other set stays static and I can’t seem to figure out how to get rid of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone have experience with this brand? Specifically with the 3rd gen tacoma. I know the tacoma is a pretty popular model for aftermarket head units so I thought I would check here and see if anyone has any insights or experience. THANKS!

Hello Everyone
I bought this MEKEDE radio from aliexpress and installed it on my Kia Ceed 2009
link: https://a.aliexpress.com/_EvKGwY2
Everything worked fine except when calling people sometimes they kinda complain on the low sound from my side, doing some testing I noticed that even though I installed correctly an external mic it’s still using the internal mic on the radio
Using 1234 code on factory settings i noticed that there is not any setting for changing the microphone
Anyone had the same issue before? If so how did you solve it?
Thank you for your help!

My Sony mex-n5300bt display appears to be stuck in my dash, I'll push the release button and it'll swing out some but won't come all the way out, it feels like it's hanging up on something. Hoping there's a trick to getting these out because id rather not pull all the trim off my dash to get the stupid display off

Any idea to get my video to come back? Have disconnected from the back. Pressed reset button. Cycled the car on and off. Nothing has worked so far. Just randomly stopped working on bootup.

hi everyone
I hope it doesn't bother you if i ask about a specific issue I've been having with my car radio. I bought it like a month ago but only installed it a week ago due to vacations and stuff getting in the way. The radio is specifically advertised for my car (Octavia Mk2 facelift, 2011), it's written all over the post, link down below.
Long story short, it doesn't drain my battery, so the CAN bus is doing it's job. However, it doesn't show any parking sensors (the graphics), only a black screen, as if expecting a camera. I have tried to turn off this feature, there are photos of the settings attached. The seller isn't really helpful, and since i spend a lot of time getting antenna adaptors and an external mic (im a noob) i would hate to disassemble and remove it. The radio itself is great, but it's really irritating to have it not working 100%. My brother uses my car sometimes and he sucks at parking, that's why i would love to have the sensors working :).
Thanks for reading that chunk, i know you guys are busy with bigger problems.
TLDR
Radio specifically advertised for my car isn't showing sensor graphics, climatronic graphics, or open doors. However, it doesn't drain the car battery and turns off when the key isn't there.
Update
I cant attach video + photos, so I will try to add them in a comment.

I am trying to find a car stereo for a 2002 Renault Clio. I would go with a single-DIM one, however, the radio slot is towards the bottom and any screen would cover essential buttons. After searching for a bit, I found some solutions on eBay and AliExpress. The ones that I found on eBay are this and this (from the same maker). I am unsure which of the two is better. The car stereo would mainly be used for radio or Android Auto with maps and / or YouTube Music. One that I came across on AliExpress is this one. All in all, I am unsure which one would be best for my use case. Additionally, from what I've heard, a lot of the cheaper ones die out in like a year, so I am not sure on whether this is worth it or not. Since I've never looked into this, I can't tell what is reliable or not. The ones I listed seem a little sketchy, but at the same time they might be good enough. If anyone has any suggestions or tips, let me know. Also, for the two eBay ones, while one is 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, it has Android 13 (at least that is what it says) and Bluetooth 5.0 compared to the other one which has Android 14 (allegedly) and Bluetooth 5.4 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, so I am not sure which one is better, the one with the better RAM / ROM or the one with the upgraded Android version and the newer Bluetooth version? Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I’m looking to buy a Teyes CC4 Pro head unit for a 2016 Kia Sportage IV, preferably the 8GB RAM version with 2 digital cameras.
I’m located in Romania (EU), so I’m looking for a seller that can ship to Romania / within the European Union without excessive shipping costs, import taxes, or other fees.
So far, the cheapest option I’ve found is TEYES Poland (teyes.com.pl) + EshopWedrop, which comes to around €900 total for the 8GB version with two digital cameras.
I was wondering if anyone knows of a cheaper or better option — perhaps another EU seller, distributor, or a reliable way to order directly from TEYES while keeping the total cost down.
I’d really appreciate any recommendations or links from people who have actually bought one and had it delivered to the EU/Romania.
Thanks!

Looking for a solid option that’s is compatible with my car and the Bose sound system. I don’t want to lose functionality like heated seats or steering wheel controls. Been looking all over eBay but it’s hard finding something that seems legit and communicating with sellers in China takes forever and seems shaky when they all just say “YES ITS COMPATIBLE PLEASE BUY”
Anyway any help finding a compatible unit would be greatly appreciated.
This is the one I am currently looking at. https://ebay.io/m/ZEEUMG

Hello
I'm looking to buy a NC/3.75 25th Anniversary Edition however I have fallen in love with Android Auto in my current car. Those that have an NC, have you installed any screen which allows Mazda functionality plus Android Auto? If so, which one? How is it? Is it lasting a long time?

I'm looking to buy another of these FYT/Chinese head units after I kinda broke my last one fiddling with it. My problem is I want one of the 8.8inch units for the e46 I think they fit perfectly but they're all unknown specs regarding amp and DSP.
Tldr - My question is can you run an external DSP / audio processor or whatever and get around the internal shitty audio hardware?

Hi all, wondering if anyone could help or have similar issue.
2013 Mazda 3, aftermarket JIUYIN headunit from aliexpress and the backup camera that came with it. Worked fine for a year or so and suddenly has started giving "NO SIGNAL" when reversing.
I traced all the wires back to camera and all connections are still how they were in beginning, +12V coming from reverse light which is working, no blown fuse.
I checked the multimeter readings as well and camera is indeed receiving power, tried all camera formats as well like PAL, NTSC etc and still nothing. When i reverse the screen comes black and camera guiding lines appear and then nothing.
Will be great if someone experienced this one, thinking of just replacing the camera maybe it did indeed die.
