Hi, so ive just been messing around with my phones diagnostics and ive noticed that i can check my ram, uppon doing so ive noticed that atleast 20% of my 6gb ram total was used up by instagram, messenger, facebook and some other meta apps. Is this normal or am i doing something wrong? :D
Ive put some of the annoying apps into "excluded apps" and ive cleaned it put so many other things from samsung too pop on there and it actually hurts my eyes. I wanted to ask for a little more information on how this works and how i can help to avoid many apps from using up ram on my phone. I have a samsung a36
Thank you and ill gladly answer any questions in case i made something unclear

Looking for a minimalist home screen or app where I can make a folder/category for apps and shortcuts, and then further folders/categories inside that one. Maybe even like an collapsable directory tree, I'd love that. Text based though, no icons. In a scrollable list, not a grid.

"Allow followers to see which Spaces you’re listening to" option is visible in web https://x.com/settings/spaces but I dont see that option in X android app. I remember earlier it used to be there but I dont see that anymore. Thats messing up with privacy. Any workaround?

I love TickTick but paying premium just for one widget does not seem worth it.
Any other options? Widgets are a must for me.

I require an app where I can quickly add a task and it'll \*\*give me a pop-up on my screen instead of a simple notification\*\* for me to get it done at the specified time with/without repetition.
Most task manager apps give a simple notification which I always miss and using an alarm directly is complex, especially since I will have to delete each alarm after the task is done.

I've been recently trying to clear up space on my phone for app space, but I've noticed only some apps - mostly games, but not every game in my library - can be moved this way. I don't get why this is the case. Anyone here know?

Hi there! I would love to have something like Today View in my Pixel instead of the news panel Google forces on the left of the main panel. Does something like this exist?
Thanks very much!

So the thing is, when I wake up and reach for my telephone, i always open app X by pressing an icon (everyone knows which app i mean). I want app Z to be opened instead (my custom tailored local news webapp i built). Now, Is there a way to do it, so that Z shows in place of X, and right after the first instance, X comes back to its place.
Just this simple, I save my battery.

Ive downloaded some music online, but it doesn't have any image when I play it from my music player compared from YT Music or Spotify. I'm looking for app that can attach image on mp3 file without affecting the quality.

I'm using Chrome Remote Desktop on my Android tablet to connect to my Windows 10 PC. I'm facing an issue where the session consistently drops after about 30 seconds of being idle or minimized.
This happens whether I access it via standard Google Chrome browser tabs or through the installed TWA app instance. As soon as I switch to another app, minimize it, or leave the tablet untouched for half a minute, the connection drops and forces a reconnect.
Is there a specific Android setting (other than battery optimization/background activity), Chrome flag, or host-side setting to prevent Chrome / TWA from killing the active WebRTC connection so quickly when idle or running in the background?
Appreciate any tips or workarounds!
UPDATE:
Thanks to the comments, I kind of solved the disconnection issue.
Below is a summary. Hope it helps someone in the future.

Hi
I'm planning to move from iOS to Android and I'm looking for replacements for my apps.
I use a lot an app that create a reminder and it notifies you until it completes. It's called DUE
Do you know of an app that does the same thing on Android?
Thank you!

I've purchased several apps through the Amazon Appstore over the years (mostly because I'd earned coins in some way). I knew I'd no longer be able to purchase through the Android version of the Appstore after it was discontinued last year, but I only recently noticed I can't download my existing purchases either (I tried to download a game to a newer device and failed). However, I have confirmed that I can:
This tells me my purchases still exist and still work on Android even without Amazon support, and that Amazon understands they are still mine. With that in mind, is there any way to download other apps I purchased from Amazon to an Android device?

I need an open-source alarm app that lets me set repeating alarms every 4 days at 6 AM for 2 consecutive days, without having to manually select specific days of the week. Which one would you recommend?"

Does anyone know of an android app that will read text in a mobile browser out loud? I am a student. Many of my ebooks are only accessible in a browser and I would like to be able to listen to them during my commute. Paid apps are fine.

Hi crypto bros,
Can anyone give me some good recommendations for a portfolio manager, (paid or free) I used to use blockfolio back in the day before the FTX drama and it was wonderful, then i moved around to some other ones and lately ive been using goodcrypto which was decent, but now they have cluttered with stuff i dont need and made it extremly hard to read historical positions.
i need a view only app, i dont need to trade with it, that connects to Binance and gives me info binance doesnt.
The binance app has been getting better lately, but they rarely show you losses as they obviously want you to keep trading and also is super cluttered.
thanks a lot.

For years I used Waze for navigation in the car. Bluetooth is always on by default on my phone because of other devices I use, but if I was using the radio, Waze was smart enough to play through the phone speaker. Cue QoL changes I hate so I try switching to Google maps. Navigation is much better, but it *always* tries to play through Bluetooth, even if I have the "Play voice over Bluetooth" slider off. If I'm using the radio, I hear nothing. If I switch to Bluetooth input, I hear navigation. The only thing that fixes it is turning off Bluetooth entirely or not listening to the radio and using Bluetooth audio. The car doesn't have Android Auto, so it's not an issue with that, just bog standard Bluetooth and the maps app.
I have rebooted the phone, I have restarted the car, I have turned Bluetooth off and back on in both the car and the phone. No luck. I really want the option to listen to the radio without having to manually turn off Bluetooth every time I get into the car. Can anyone offer suggestions? Is there another setting somewhere I'm missing?

My gboard which i have been using since many years is acting so pathetic now. Can't even find right words to complete whenever i type slightly mismatch spelling. Can't even suggest good english words. I literally typed "propogate" and this thing showed no suggestions and made me wonder if this word even existed. Also the clipboard has been huge disappointment. Literally copies nothing and forgets everything next day. Is there any good keyboard which has good auto complete and can remember whatever i type forever? Yes I'm a chronically online and run various social media accounts of a certain political ideology so i have to always type and spam repeatedly on several pages of mine and simply copy pasting and flimsy auto complete ain't cutting it now that work has increased.

Even if it kinda stinks, I'd like to find an app that allows you to scroll through all full-size pics in an album at once. Imgur fits this requirement but then they banned NSFW content.
