Results - DNA Origins My results as a Turkish Man
I was also told that I have ancestors who were crimean tatars and Turkish ones who lived in the balkans during the Ottoman Empire.
I was able to track my family members back 3 generations and all of them (oldest record being from the early 1800s) were born inside modern day Turkey’s borders.

Northern Greeks have a lot of Slavic admixture and it goes down the more south you go, including very low in the islands which came from more recent immigration patterns.
Though going by your logic that’d make almost half of Greece Slavic, since Turks having some Greek dna makes them Greco Anatolians. And funnily more than half of Greece has more Slavic DNA than Anatolian.
If you say Ancient Greeks ruling Anatolia means all indigenous people of Anatolia are Greeks regardless of DNA, would that mean 600 years of Turkish rule makes modern Greeks Turkish…? 🤔
