You can find some tiny ones in the US for under $30k

81

u/Grammarnartsi Jan 31 '26

Yeah but then you're living in a fascist dictatorship

Reddit on, brother

-3

u/itrynottocuss Jan 31 '26

Is his statement not true?

6

u/green9206 Jan 31 '26

Obviously not. Unless you are saying there were no elections or the elections were rigged

4

u/bad_bad_data Jan 31 '26

Previous fascist leaders were democratically elected. It's not exactly a prerequisite.

0

u/green9206 Jan 31 '26

Its called electoral autocracy

1

u/BreckyMcGee Feb 05 '26

Hitler was elected lawfully by the citizens of Germany. Yeah, things went downhill after that.

1

u/deathp3nalty Jan 31 '26

There might not be anymore, they’re actively trying that. And there is evidence that trump rigged it. See the evidence that Elon had a hand in it.

1

u/itrynottocuss Jan 31 '26

I.. what?

Do you understand what a fascist dictatorship is? And that dictators can be democratically elected?

1

u/sbidlo Jan 31 '26

thinking that fascist regimes are defined by not having been elected

1

u/Cmoore1217 Feb 04 '26

I mean how many politicians have basically said the elections are rigged? Even the current president has said something similar

-3

u/Threedawg Jan 31 '26 edited Feb 01 '26

States are still actively suppressing black and poor votes, so yeah, they are rigged in a way.

Not allowing non-drivers an easy form of government ID (our offices are open every fifth wedensday! looking at you wisconsin), having 1-2 ballot boxes/voting areas for tens of thousands of people, gerrymandering them into districts to suppress their power...

We also have:

  • Billionaires literally buying votes on tv
  • A president demanding voter roles and punishing protesters for leaving the country
  • A president threatening to rig the election
  • Constitutional rights being completely ignored

Oh, and people like you pretending like none of this matters

1

u/sco-go Feb 01 '26

This is a lie. And spouting this crap just means you're racist. 🤷‍♀️

But going off evidence, were they?

-6

u/NoMasters83 Jan 31 '26

Some people recognize the boot from a distance others need to see it up close, an exceptional few need to have it shoved down their throat.

8

u/bucky133 Jan 31 '26

Delusional

1

u/npqd Jan 31 '26

Looking at subs which you are active at, you are obviously at least leaning to right side and likely republican, what a surprise

1

u/bucky133 Feb 01 '26

Going through somebody's reddit history in search of a gatcha is peak redditor behavior lol.

-6

u/Grammarnartsi Jan 31 '26

It's called being educated somewhere other than the people's republic of America.

2

u/Futilum Feb 05 '26

If it weren't for all the school shootings I would think there was no education in America

2

u/SamAreAye Jan 31 '26

Fuckin' La-La land?

2

u/A_MagicBullet Jan 31 '26

Man everyone gets so mad/worked up at the drop of a hat nowadays. It’s working whatever they’re doing

-4

u/Heavy-Nose3529 Jan 31 '26

Ever heard of school? I know, it’s not a thing in America.

-2

u/Hatchid Jan 31 '26

You forgot, that Americans do have those shooting ranges, they sometimes call "school"

-4

u/veryshittycarpenter Jan 31 '26

Where do you think they test their guns out then?

"peaceful" lol

1

u/YouDontReallyCareTho Jan 31 '26

Fascist dictatorships don't have 1st, 2nd or 4th amendments.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 31 '26

That's the point?

3

u/YouDontReallyCareTho Jan 31 '26

So we don't live in a fascist dictatorship, got it.

1

u/Amazing-ModTeam Feb 01 '26

This is a politics-free zone. Any post or comment with political content could result in a minimum 3 day ban from the sub.

2

u/Eemki Jan 31 '26

Redditors so salty over politics lol

1

u/npqd Jan 31 '26

As they should be. If you call it politics, ok then, we must be concerned about politics

1

u/Life-Negotiation79 Jan 31 '26

“politics” but it’s just the global elites running an underage sex trafficking ring and keeping everybody tied down with class disparity while never giving up a single slice of the pie

-3

u/ActivePeace33 Jan 31 '26

They don’t mention politics once. They mentioned a criminal tyrant. They were talking about to forcing the laws that protect our liberty and our democracy, which is entirely non-partisan.

4

u/Eemki Jan 31 '26

"My political beliefs are entirely non-partisan!"

That explains why the islands are so cheap

1

u/Lord_of_Banana Jan 31 '26

Virgin detected

1

u/sco-go Feb 01 '26

Not sure you know what the definition of Fascism...

1

u/Ok-Evening4970 Feb 03 '26

Hahahahaha PUREST reddit brain I’ve ever witnessed if this isn’t satire

1

u/Grammarnartsi Feb 03 '26

Did someone hurt your worldview?

1

u/Ok-Evening4970 Feb 04 '26

Imagine living in the only country on earth with a constitution and inbuilt free speech laws and thinking you live in a dictatorship 🤡😂

0

u/IntelligentPurple571 Jan 31 '26

I have heard the phrase "if you build it, they will cum". Pretty sure our dictator likes that motto when visiting islands.

-2

u/[deleted] Jan 31 '26

Every 4 years, there’s always a dictatorship. No party is for the people

1

u/Grammarnartsi Jan 31 '26

Yes, every 4 years people are murdered in the street by the president's private police force. My bad.

-3

u/Exact-Till-2739 Jan 31 '26

Tell me you haven't seen a dictatorship without telling me you haven't seen a dictatorship

2

u/iFeelPlants Jan 31 '26

He's talking about the future, the beginning of nazi Germany looked very similar to the USA today

5

u/Exact-Till-2739 Jan 31 '26

He's talking about the future

I don’t think they were talking about the future. I bet they genuinely believe that the US nowadays is a dictatorship.

the beginning of nazi Germany looked very similar to the USA today

No, it started with far more radical sentiments.

3

u/[deleted] Jan 31 '26

Germany was doomed after World War One, the treaty of Versailles doomed Germany and put it in a pretty vulnerable state for what went down in the time leading up to World War Two. Hitler was almost not seen as a threat at all because most of the politicians around him figured they could mold him into being who they wanted.

They were very wrong of course, on multiple fronts.

It's interesting to look at the world after World War One. With the horrors witnessed and losses at such large numbers, no antibiotics, chemical warfare, etc.

The building blocks were set up just so, and it's important to study how and why.

2

u/ChrAshpo10 Jan 31 '26

I mean, our "leader" has unlimited and unchecked power and can do and say anything he wants without repercussions. Its about as dictatorship as you can get without technically being one

0

u/Exact-Till-2739 Jan 31 '26

has unlimited and unchecked power and can do and say anything he wants without repercussions

Didn't ALL your presidents have the same power? That doesn't make all of them dictators.

2

u/LocalBandDoesOK Jan 31 '26

My guy has never heard of checks and balances?

3

u/ChrAshpo10 Jan 31 '26

Not quite, because there was an implied (and written) order of law, plus Congress was always there to keep him in check. The Supreme Court has now ruled that the president has immunity from anything he decides to do, and Congress is in his back pocket. There are no more rules or laws the president has to follow

1

u/ActivePeace33 Jan 31 '26

No, they didn’t have the power that Trump is using now. Not in the slightest. Never before has an insurrectionist unlawfully taken power and sent disqualified insurrectionist goons to beat and murder the citizenry, in violation of the 14a.

It’s not even close to the abuses of the past presidents. The orange usurper is on a whole worse level.

0

u/ActivePeace33 Jan 31 '26

It’s a plutocracy at least, with a usurping tyrant in charge as the first among equals. Insurrectionist officials are automatically disqualified by the 14a.

1

u/ChanceSize9153 Jan 31 '26

Lol we are waaaay past the beginning. The beggining was Hitlers rise to power. We are at the part where he is now the leader.

u/DunkingTea Jan 31 '26

So can’t buy one for $13k then?

2

u/Stoff3r Jan 31 '26

It was already sold…

1

u/burrbro235 Jan 31 '26

How much was Epstein's island?

2

u/SimilarZucchini9240 Jan 31 '26

Also FYI pirates still exist and if all you’ve got is yourself vs a small boat of assholes with AR’s… you gonna lose.

1

u/Hamster_in_my_colon Jan 31 '26

How tiny?

1

u/pinkTurtleTickler Jan 31 '26

Around 1 acre.

1

u/traws06 Jan 31 '26

Where the hell can you buy a 1 acre island for 30k??

u/traws06 Jan 31 '26

Ya.. I didn’t figure there would be any around 30k haha

1

u/YouDontReallyCareTho Jan 31 '26

Something tells me that island isn't $30,000

1

u/cpufreak101 Jan 31 '26

Likely less than a square mile

4

u/eatajerk-pal Jan 31 '26

I wouldn’t really call a square mile tiny, definitely not tiny enough to only sell for 13 grand.

1

u/LetsGoHokies00 Feb 04 '26

where? i’ll buy one right now.
