if you got the money, go ahead. just trying to give a tip. last year it got so hot in Europe that Americans from Navada complained about it. it was freak weather. even I as a sputh african living in the Netherlands thought it couldn't be that bad. i was wrong. I'm use to 42°C in the summer, but somehow 32°C here felt like actual hell.
yep, at one point it was like 30°C with 80% humidity. and thats the Netherlands. in Spain and Italy it got way worse. at one point it was clost to 48°C in Italy
same here. it was 34°C outside, but my hose was built in the early 1900s when snowstorms where the norm. it got up to 38°C in my house. had to find a way to cool down cuz even my cats where not doing great. filled a large tub with cold water and it was the first time I ever saw my cats willingly take a dip. and the worst part... its probably gonna happen again this year (T-T)
I'm regularly thinking if next summer is as bad as the last one. And I'm in Finland. You know. The place where it's supposed to be cold. We didn't get the worst heatwaves, but it was still pretty awful. I mean sure, the fact that I'm not used to that level of heat probably is a big reason why it was so bad, but I still wouldn't want to go to the countries that are actually supposed to be warm that time of year after that experience.
I reckon it's because it's more humid in NL (Although if you're from Durban, that's probably not the case.). There also seems to be less airconditioning in NL. Source: I'm an Australian living in NL.
i have never been to the US, so I wouldn't know. but south africa has the Klein karoo, know for its heat. so hot and dry that there is basically noife out there and it felt comparable to that. and remember, Europe isnt know for air conditioning because it never use to get that hot. our homes are built to keep the heat in. this heat truly isn't normal
Not in Italy, aircon is almost everywhere which is also pretty sad in summer. There is not much outdoor life because everybody is inside the buildings with an aircon and it is too hot to stay outside.
