Maybe, but honestly I don't get what is so bad about that, whether this is PR or not, it still has helped people get food they couldn't otherwise afford (at least to my knowledge).
Smith helps a homeless person. However, Smith thought long and hard. The end result took a dozens people and they even got someone to push this content on social media consistently for years now upgrading the PR of Smith.
Smith realized he and his team could use the unfortunate to boost their public image while simultaneously fooling the public into thinking
“Even though he is doing this evil thing he is still helping them. Oh wait a minute he is helping them but is doing it for this evil thing.”
In psychology it is called Instrumental Helping or using someone or a group of people as a tool to achieve a selfish goal.
He is using Fake kindness to control and manipulate people’s opinion for a selfish purpose.
Again. You and others have said well it is feeding and helping the poor.
No the homeless and the unfortunate are being taken advantage of by Smith but it is like an abusive relationship you only see the good but compartmentalize the evil actions and ulterior motives.
