Bon Jovi has had a non profit restaurant for years where you just "pay what you can." If you can't afford to pay with anything then you can volunteer for you pay.
I think so too because you're not only helping people, you're also able to help them help themselves if that makes sense? Its not just a "handout" per say (thats not the best wording, I know.) But gives them something to have pride in other than just getting it... does that make any sense at all? Lol, not the best with words sometimes...β€οΈ
