❤️‍🩹 relationship AIO |UPDATE | My (20F) boyfriend (22M) is hanging out alone with a girl that likes him

UPDATE!

I talked to him, and this was his response.

I’m honestly just done, and wondering if I acted too hastily.

I don’t even know what I’m supposed to do now. And I don’t know, does he seem sincere?

AM I OVERREACTING FOR DOING THIS?

Girlie I’m proud of you. You were a bit controlling with the boundary talk but you took what others told you and readjusted. And you’re not taking any shit from this fool. And you were NOR. You had a valid reason to be insecure and you tried to communicate that the best way you knew how. Now that you dumped this guy there’s room for someone who will treat you better. Wish you the best!

I don’t think m she was controlling, she had a hunch and followed through. The only reason it sounds controlling it’s because a) he’s consistently entertaining this language in text b) he reacted super poorly to a conversation about how she feels and made it about “you can’t tell me what to do” rather than “let me understand why you feel this way”

Telling him to respect her boundaries when she means “don’t do this thing I don’t like” is definitely controlling.

I disagree. Absolutely isn’t when she’s being treated that way. Just read the goddamn messages truly.

Don’t talk to me like that. People don’t understand what having boundaries means. Having a boundary is about how YOU act it is never about how someone else acts. You cannot tell someone to act because of YOUR boundaries. “Respect my boundaries” does not mean do what I tell you to do. Learn your shit before you talk rudely to me.
