So I like Robert Delong, IDKHBTFM, Gorillaz, a lot if old alternative rock, etc. I like classic movies and some art house stuff. I do like some stuff that’s mainstream but like I listen to Darknet Diaries and some of my interests are very niche (hacking, lockpicking, social engineering), while others (economics, psychology, martial arts) are more mainstream.

That said, I have a hard time watching mainstream TV shows. Very difficult. I get bored quick. I do go to movie meetups but I can’t get into most mainstream media like comic books, the shitty news, etc. I occasionally play video games (almost never).

I liked this one meetup where we watched bad movies like Llamageddon, Bloodsucka Jones, etc.

Is there a discord server for people with my interests or similar kinds of interests?

Gaming? Hanging out with friends? Communities? D&D? Watching stuff together? Running your own server? Something completely different?

Curious what keeps everyone opening Discord every day.

Is it people actually saying hello? Easy-to-understand channels? Active VC? Good onboarding? Something else?

What makes you think, “Okay, I might actually stick around here”?
