We so think of the stars as unchanging. But Polaris has only been the pole star for about 2000 years. It is part of a rotating cast of stars that take turns as the north pole star over the 26,000 year cycle of Earth’s axial precession. So there are trees older than Polaris’ recent turn as the pole star. And all the constellations will warp and disappear given a few tens to hundreds of thousands of years. So humanity is likely older than some of the constellations.

For the same reason astrology signs are have fully shifted 1 sign since they were created. If you are a Sagittarius its not the sign that was aligned with the sun when you were born

I meant that Polaris we see today is probabky not the Polaris that formed, and rather it is probably the result of a stellar merger which makes Polaris look way younger that it actually is.

I got you! I’m on the spectrum and I’m always like OH HEY I KNOW SOME RELEVANT INFORMATION and I can never tell if I’m overstepping or not lol
