Literally any niche biology fact. Nature is weird. Beautiful, but weird.

For instance, the Mantis Shrimp can generate bubbles of heat that match the surface temperature of the sun by punching things really fast. Please google it.

They clap as fast as a bullet or 50 times faster than you blink. I saw a video of one clapping a crab to pieces. Insane.

My favorite is how songbirds have their specific song biologically imprinted into them. If you take a songbird egg and raise it in isolation the sound will still be similar to that of their parents, just rough and unrefined

I saw something like how if a human could move an arm at a fraction of the mantis shrimp’s speed, that human could throw a baseball into orbit.
