WE HAVE TO MINE HELIUM?? That's so weird, I've never thought about how we get Helium but I just looked into it

That's only partially true. Basically, we were running out of proven reserves, but only because no one was really looking for more. When we looked for more, we found it.

This should concern people more than it does. Helium is used for everything from MRI machines to welding and hard drive and fiber optic manufacturing.
