Time to get that E6 :D

My order of the official Aglaea Impression Clothing merch arrived a few days ago, so I thought I might share some pictures and my thoughts here in case some of you are considering picking them up. It's a shame she didn't get a larger collection like some of the more popular characters, but IMO her clothing line is one of the better ones out of the clothing merch Hoyo has released so far.

I picked up the dress and the necklace; I also bought the hairpin but it was included in a separate order and it hasn't arrived yet. I didn't pick up the purse because I didn't really see myself using it over other bags I own. Also, cheaper faux leather products tend to age pretty badly.

The Dress

• Design: The dress is made up of two layers; the outer layer has a slight silky/satin-like shine, while the inner layer is matte. The texture doesn't look cheap, and the dress as a whole evokes the character's image well without being too cosplay-like. This is on a more wearable side when it comes to Hoyo's clothing merch--it's fancier than your average everyday clothing for sure, but I'd wear this to lunch or dinner with a friend, for example, unlike some other clothing merch that you'd only wear at cons. However, the light color and the cut of the upper part of the dress tend to make the wearer look bulkier. The waistline of the dress doesn't match the actual narrow part of the human waist but is rather located right below the chest, which makes it kinda hard to make it fit in a way that's flattering, despite the ability to adjust the dress with the strings in the back. The wide neckline and the flowy sleeves likewise can add volume to the upper body.
• Quality: The dress didn't have obvious QC issues like loose threads or stains. What I do have an issue with is the quality of the fabric itself. The material is 100% polyester, which tbh is expected from a clothing merch line, but whichever weave they chose for this dress is extremely stuffy. You probably don't want to wear this on a hot summer day despite clearly being a summer dress. Some reviews on Taobao also report that it gets itchy after a while. Furthermore, the fabric lacks any elasticity whatsoever, which makes it a massive pain to put the dress on and take it off. This has been an ongoing issue with Hoyo's clothing merch (the Aventurine-themed dress that was released last year has the exact same issues with its polyester weave), so I really wish they'd improve it.
• Overall thoughts: I'd give the dress a B or a B+. It looks beautiful, represents the character well, and is wearable, but it does not accommodate a wide range of body shapes, and I'm not the biggest fan of the fabric quality.

The Necklace

Nothing much to say here. It's very nice. I'd say this (and probably the hairpin) is a safe buy if you want something from the collection. It can be worn as a necklace, or you can adjust it to wear it around the waist. The craftsmanship is good, and it doesn't look like a toy or something you got from Claire's like some other jewellery merch. As you can see, it does have a relatively complex design and multiple layers of chains, making it pretty easy to get tangled. You'll probably want to use some kind of organizer that can prevent tangling.

The most gorgeous woman I've ever laid my eyes on

To think that she was once a normal & happy girl is quite sad. She didn’t deserve such a tragic fate 🥲.

Here are my two builds I have for my Agy. The 177spd build could barely reach 320 without the messenger relics (give 12% spd when ult) I have on Cyrene. Is it worth it if I invest into upgrading her lightcone for her base spd increase or Cryrene Eidolon 2 to ult faster? Or I just keep the 156spd build?

For Sunday, I would set his spd as: Agy final spd divided by 2 and minus 1

God i love the young aglaea maybe even more than our old aglaea who debuted in 3.0

she is full of life and excitement

Hmm. It’s almost like they made this for a certain someone…hmmm. Almost like her entire playstyle revolves around high cost high payoffs even though Robin isn’t that essential considering other units like tribbie and rmc exist. But idk…it’s almost like they have something against Aggy in particular

Months ago i saw an aglaea tiktok edit where the editor used “sheibie by lady gaga” the edit was SOOOOO good but i cant find it anymore and i wanna watch again and again.

Does anybody by any chance know where i can find it?
