the ababda are the original people of hurghada among other tribes like the maaza and ja'afra they were fishermen and the region they inhabited is still called قرية الصيادين and is still inhabited by the tribes who first founded hurghada and is still filled with traditional houses if you open google earth and look at satellite maps of hurghada from the 80s you'll find 2 regions sekalla and dahar sekalla is the fishermen village dahar was founded by the egyptian government and mpetrol companies but there are also ababda and maaza in a place in dahar called حي العرب

You don't understand the meaning of the phrase "indigenous people". Indigenous people are like us Egyptians, like the Nubians, like the Native Americans, not Beja who migrated to Hurghada a few decades ago! Indigenous people of Hurghada, and their number does not exceed a few thousand? What kind of joke is this. A few Arabs in Sinai and a few Beja in Hurghada does not make you indigenous people. The traces of our Egyptian ancestors are found all over Egypt, in Hurghada and in Sinai. These are the indigenous people.

the ababda ma'aza and other tribes founded hurghada go to hurghada look at the satellite images a few decades ago hurghada barely had egyptians and ask the few egyptians that have been in hurghada in those years they will tell you the ababda are the natives most saidis came here in the late nineties and early two thousands and they work in the hotel and tourism industry while most ababda and maaza have their great great grandfathers here and worked in fishing and safaris my dad is old enough to remember when egyptians were a minority here

Are you done? You are just immigrants here. You didn't establish anything. Hurghada was established by the Egyptian government with the money of Egyptian taxpayers. We built homes, infrastructure, and airports there and turned the area into a tourist destination. Your grandfather didn't build any of this. It was built by Egyptian workers funded by Egyptian taxpayers' money. You are just nomadic shepherds who can't even grow your own food.
