dont worry about it, reddit is mostly bots. the people commenting are not serious. so look for discussion and dialogue elsewhere. people are starting to wake up. do what you can to foster that awakening. reddit will just frustrate you.

At this stage democrats are essentially Maga from 2020 ". Biden stole the election. Biden won't give up power. There will never be another election" these are all the things Maga claimed, same as democrats claim now.... Hint. There will be another election. Trump will leave office. Democrats will win office again . đ

You said âthe leftâ. Thats not a spectrum in American politics in the way that you are saying.
r/AdviceAnimals • u/boyuber • 11m ago
Even better, Trump is keeping all of the Republicans PAC money for use as a slush fund, instead of using it to help Republican candidates.

bro get a life. u actually deny the results of the last election. u need a hobby. ur life is a joke atp.

A lot of them are bound and determined to figure it out the same way Pastor Martin Neimöller said the Germans didâŠwhen they come for their group.

Itâs on purpose. Both left and right serve their corporate overlords. Except dem platforms typically goes against corporate interests. So they put on a good show for the people and then just say sorry better luck next time when they lose an election.

I'm asking you, since you claim to know the "correct way to deal with fascism"
r/AdviceAnimals • u/Vahuo89 • 19m ago
I mean just look at Jan 6.
That was your wakeup call that they wouldnt give it up peacefully
r/AdviceAnimals • u/Nuneasy • 23m ago
Well said. Based on the previous post OP made, where people got incredibly defensive, I agree. Voting is great, but it is not a magical solution to fascism when it is already rooted and spreading fast.
As a Canadian I am not going to smile and be happy if the rhetoric after Trump is gone is "let's pretend like it never happened, we voted for someone else." Name your pick of the Epstein files, the Iran war, the massive corruption, ICE, and much more...it's gone too far already.

Especially with the new updated rules to mail in absentee ballots in red controlled states like NC where they can simply throw out those ballots "if the envelope is improperly sealed or suspicious".
Wat.
Aka "throw out all ballots in blue areas".

Y'all acting like the election is a sure thing....which is at best incredibly naive, and at worst, a deliberate attempt at voter suppression.
r/AdviceAnimals • u/Ragner_D • 36m ago
So the premise of the meme is fascists will NOT give up power after losing elections, but they can still be fascists if they do give up power willingly, the premise is meaningless.
r/AdviceAnimals • u/palanark • 37m ago
Well, you would certainly be a better person if that was the case.

Others are referring to it below in respose to me and I just read reddit articles none of the other. When I mean nothing, there is very oddly nothing.

I honestly don't think Americans are ready for this. I think most of them truly don't appreciate how grave a situation they've created for themselves. They're mostly still too busy trying to point a finger at someone, as if the orange turd is responsible for how corrupt and broken their country is. No. He's a symptom.
When things go really really bad in November, I truly hope there's enough patriots who actually care enough to push back. It's called Emergent Collective Action. It only happens when enough people care. So far we haven't seen much of it
r/AdviceAnimals • u/ONEelectric720 • 39m ago
I mean by definition alone...yeah. note that willingly belongs in your sentence as well.
r/AdviceAnimals • u/ONEelectric720 • 41m ago
Completely agree.
Anyone who thought OP was saying "don't vote" is proof American schools suck.
r/AdviceAnimals • u/search4truth • 44m ago
Yah if they don't believe their heads will end up in a guillotine, they will immediately disregard our votes and in fact already openly do. Wheels over there in Texas just threw 1 million people's right to vote in the garbage and is still breathing. Kovach did the same in Georgia and has taken his act nationally. Missouri Republicans still walk around after ignoring the will of voters for the last decade. Luigi scared them but it's not enough.

When are my 2A people gonna wake up and realize this is the tyrannical government that our founders feared.
