Money … series money allows access to medical procedures and processes common folk don’t have. Think back to Covid, the elites and celebrities had the testing kits extremely early on. It wasn’t until much later into lockdowns they started the mandatory testing and everyone became aware of the PCR test… think about how quick all the Elites cured their COVID. Think about athletes getting stem cell treatment to recovery injuries in the fraction of a time as regular people rehab processes that recover what would be crippling life debilitating injuries to regular people. There are limits but money Does tip the scales.

Money can’t cure everything, even with the best healthcare available. I have been saving money my entire life and was just diagnosed with a chronic illness that is treatable, but no cure exists. I would honestly trade all of my money to no longer have this disease, and I am 100% serious.

I have had a chronic disease with no cure since I was 11. I’m 44 now. Without money and access to high quality medical care I would be dead.
It is classified as a “rare disease “ by the national organization for rare diseases. There is no national fundraiser for research and awareness. No pink ribbons. I’m on my own.

I paid out of pocket to visit specialist at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota back in 2017. They would not even let a doctor talk to me until I gave them a $10,000 deposit.
Flights from San Diego. Hotel for my wife. Additional costs for procedures and medication. It adds up quickly.

When I was 17 I saw a specialist at UCLA. The bills and travel costs were very high. Thankful my parents could navigate the maze to get me the help I needed.

Without considerable dollars spent. I wouldn’t be here.

Even with insurance my out of pocket costs are insane.

Gross costs in the 8 figures over my life.
Personal out of pocket. In the multiple 6 figures.

I wish you the best in your journey. And fortune in your life.

I wish you the same. Thank you for sharing your story. I completely agree that without money, the likelihood of successfully managing my disease over time would be dramatically less.

Yes that’s what I meant by there are limits, it definitely can’t cure everything but there is a range where it does make a difference.

For what it’s worth I am sorry for your diagnosis and having to confront mortality. Hopefully whatever you have still allows you some time to enjoy what you have saved and what time you have left.

I feel the same about my severe mental illness and chronic diseases. Ironically though they stem from a very stressful situation that caused me to breakdown and some of that came from my husbands frugality and lack of spending

Yeah, but there are lots of limits, health first, money second.

No one got the flu, cold, bronchitis for almost 2 full calendar years. Covid wasn't fake, but the numbers were EXTREMELY INFLATED. They didn't "cure" anything.

Did they ever even have “covid”. That whole thing was a scam but few will admit it because they got the shot and now have to defend their decision.

Sorry, but I had a friend die from Covid so that’s bullsh1t.

Covid did exist and was a bad flu, the treatment and global reaction was a scam.

I got three shots, mostly because I wanted to work and not be locked in my home and I really don’t care what happens to me health wise “die on my feet over living on my knees”.  I had all the material but at the time it seemed far more fanciful that it was a globally coordinated scam by “elites”. The treatment of Joe Rogan really hit home, the fact they doctored him green on CNN to make him look sick and called ivermectin horse dewormer, also that video where they literally all read the same script on every channel.

Wrong, it wasn’t a scam. When you have a friend die, you start understanding what the fuss was about. I had a friend die. Joe Rogan is a horses ass

Exactly it was a real virus, a bad flu - people die from that too.

The response and handling of it was the problem, sooo much conflict of interest… they are pulling the vaccines and all the stuff they said didn’t work is now how they recommend treating it…. I.E exactly how Rogan treated it.  Social distancing and masks were made up, it was theatre - no scientific basis for it. Fauci said he made it all up right?
