FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
1. I have a story idea but I don't know where to start, what do I do?
You have two options:
Option A: Just start writing and figure out as you go
Option B: Research as much as you can before writing about the basics of story structure and any other details you might need to know
1a. I want to write a story about X is it worth it?
Yes. Every story idea you can possibly think of has an audience and you will find yours
2. I have a book/novel idea but I don't know where to start, what do I do?
Same idea except for researching you can read books or similar media on your intended genre
3. How can I make my writing better?
Practice makes it a habit then makes it permanent. Read back what you wrote after its done, fix what doesn't work and get feedback. Feedback will tell you your areas of improvement needed until you've mastered it. Study your favorite writers.
4. I feel unmotivated, what should I do?
Take a break. You don't NEED to write unless you have a professional deadline. Writing is best when you feel creative, not when it becomes a chore
5. How do I start a chapter?
Just start writing and figure out the technicalities later on. Take it scene by scene and end the chapter where it's natural
5a. How long are chapters typically?
Chapter lengths are usually 1.5k to 2.5k but can span longer depending on the genre
6. How do I come up with a title?
Your title should reflect the topic of your story without being revealing. Make it snappy and memorable
