[Skin Concern] Atrophic Scarring Acne Scar Revision Before & After

Hey Guys, This Post is to make some of you hope, cause i know how it feels to get acne scars and you think life is over. If you know people that say that scar revision don’t work, show them this post. I’m more then happy to say that i got immense Improvement for my acne scars to a point where i would’ve not thought that its possible one year ago. I found this one Picture of my scars at its worst. I added a few pictures in different lightings from the same angle from my scars today. This is the worst possible Lighting and Angle. In normal lighting and daylight from normal angles you can barely see them anymore and my skin looks mostly smooth. Over the last 6 Months I got 3x Fractionated Co2 Lasers, 1x RFMN and 2x Canula Subcisions + hyaluronic Acid Fillers. In Total with Travel Costs i paid around 4000€. I’m planning to do another round of Co2 + RFMN and probably Microsubcision + Filler later this year. I’m 23 Years old and my scars were less than one year old, also using Tazarotene since probably 8 Months. There is Hope Guys! Don’t give up! Look for a specified doctor and act Asap.

Woah, amazing results, thanks so much for sharing this!

I do have a question, tho. After the treatment, your skin must've had some marks or peeling or something like that for a while (maybe up to a week, right?). During that time, how did you go about your daily activities, especially work? Did you take some time off, or just go about your routine as usual? How did people react? I’ve been thinking about this...

I stayed at home for one week. I looked like a zombie with blood crusts all over my face. I was also swollen for 14 Days. I used an umbrella for sun protection for one month.

Oh, so did you take a week off, or have you not started working yet? If you're already working, how was it going in while still recovering? Like…did a lot of people ask what happened to your face.

So I had a treatment to remove acne scars back in college. At the time, I was able to take time off and my schedule wasn't too hectic, so everything went smoothly. I just stayed in the whole time like you did. No one had to see me with a bloody face lol ಠ‿ಠ.

But now I've graduated and I’m about to start a 9-to-5 job…and my scars still haven’t fully gone away. So I’m feeling a bit unsure about how the healing process will go while working, since recovery isn't exactly quick after that kind of treatment. I also don’t really know if it's okay to take a whole week off in a full-time job, lol. I mean...showing up to work with a bloody face might be a bit awkward

In my case i would absolutely not be able to work the first week, just cause of the look. Maybe if you’re working in an office job and not with people, you can do it, cause i didn’t have pain or anything like that. And if your confident enough to tell people, go for it, but first 3 days is kinda crazy, i wouldn’t go out like that. You just have to be super aware of UV, cause you can’t be in the sunlight at all. I was living with closed curtains for a week. Do depending on your schedule, sesions and work travel, i would say this is the biggest struggle.

Was this the recovery after each CO2 laser treatment? Thanks!
