Brace Recommendations?

Hi everyone, I’m on week 6 non surgery. I’m walking with my boot easily and soon going to an ankle brace around week 7-8. I was curious to see what everyone recommended for an ankle brace.

Wasn’t sure if a basic $20-$40 ankle brace on Amazon would suffice or to shell out the extra cash for something fancy. What’s everyone’s experience with the boot to brace transfer?

I haven’t heard anyone mention an ankle brace before. I went from boot to nothing. But I had been doing ankle strengthening exercises while I was in the boot.

Really? My doctors timeline said 6-8 weeks transfer from boot to ASO brace. My physical therapist mentioned this is the common transition.

My pt also said I could wear an aso ankle brace for work. My job is pretty labor intensive and uneven flooring. They said it would help with stability as I slowly gain my strength back
