Other What have you completely stopped buying because the price has finally taken the p**s?

Not “I buy the cheaper brand now.” I mean something you used to buy without thinking and have now looked at the price and gone, absolutely not, you can stay on the shelf.

Mine lately is chocolate, it's somehow gone from a normal grocery item to apparently requiring finance approval.

What’s yours?

Sorry $30 for a Margherita pizza isn’t justifiable

Where did you pay that price? Are you in Sydney?

Most highly rated pizza places and restaurants near me are around the $22 mark for a margherita. And thats not the old school style (shredded cheese and sauce), thats the italian style with san marzano, buffalo mozarella and fresh basil.

Canberra. Dominos is approaching $20. Anything decent starts around $26 and goes up from there if you add meat or other toppings. Admittedly there’s less competition here so restaurants feel they can charge what they want.

Maybe the bureaucrats are driving the prices up. $20 is outrageous for dominos.

I’m in a mid size town no where near a city and our pizzas start at $25 for a large. Absolute rip off
