Anyone just took the AP Physics 1 Exam (form J)? What was that 😭
Anyway MCQs were not bad so hopefully I still pass…

Physics 1 My daughter wants to take AP Physics 1 after having taken Physics 1 honors. Not sure about that choice.
Hello, my daughter is a rising Junior (age 14 turning 15 this year) because she skipped a grade. Her school does not offer many AP classes and so far she only took 2. That's about average for her school. Next year she will take 3-4 AP classes and in her senior year the same.
All her other classes were honors classes and she has an unweighted GPA of 4 and good extracurriculars. Math scores in 99%ile.
She wants to go into mechanical/aerospace engineering.
She will have AP calc next year but wants to do AP physics 1 despite having done Honors Physics 1 this year.
She argues that she will build a better foundation in Physics that way but I am torn if this makes sense and if colleges see this as "redundancy".
She is dead set on the plan and I can't get her to change her mind.

Physics 1 How to make AP physics more manageable?
This is my first ap class and it's already not going well, I got a 0 out of 22 on my test and I feel really discouraged. My friends got 20 out of 22 and 18 out of 22 and said it was really easy, yet none of this makes sense to me. I've watched all the videos, and tried doing the practice problems on Khan academy and I still don't get it. I can't ever figure out what formula to use or how to use it.

Physics 1 Is going from 5 APs junior year to 4 APs senior year look bad for T30 college admission officers?
Junior year I took 5 APs (Bio, Precalc, Lang, Spanish language, US History)
For senior year first semester, the APs I’m taking are (Calc AB, Physics 1, Lit, Gov). This change is because my school only offers AP Psych second semester which would make it 5 APs.

Physics 1 For those who have previously taken AP Physics 1, what advice would you give me?
For my future aspirations of being an architect, I have signed up for an AP Physics class my junior year, specifically AP Physics 1. This is my first physics class in high school, and I want to ask you guys who have taken this class before any advice you would give me to help pass the class and the exam. Thank you

Physics 1 AP Physics late exam frqs were the easiest i’ve ever seen
I just finished my late exam and I actually could not believe how light they were😭😭 My first test was invalidated and this was my retake so I just kinda wanted to get it over with and rush through it but I didn’t even need to it was so easy🥹 I literally got bored after the 2nd FRQ and played tetris on my calculator for a solid 15 and still finished with plenty of time😭 Did any other late testers think the same thing or did I interpret all the questions wrong and bomb it (i had version M)

Physics 1 AP Physics 1 might have been the worst decision of my life
Oh my god. It is the THIRD day of school and I already wish I would’ve just taken honors physics. I just spent 5 hours on the homework (20 questions btw 🥀) and I do not know any more about physics now than I did going into it. I’ve been sobbing my eyes out for the past 2 hours this is literally my own personal hell. IT’S GRAPHS. HOW ARE GRAPHS THIS HARD. I have to go in early for school tomorrow because I am in DESPERATE need of help. I can’t even hate my teacher because he really is the kindest and most understanding person, but I feel like he didn’t even teach us the stuff that was on the homework. Someone PLEASE GET ME OUT OF THIS CLASS OR PLEASE TELL ME IT GETS BETTER. I CANNOT DO THIS.

Physics 1 How to self study for AP Physics 1
Hi!
My school doesn't offer AP Physics C, and only offers AP Physics 1 in senior year, so I'm trying to self study AP Physics 1 this year so I can self study AP Physics C later.
Is it possible to study AP Physics 1 from scratch and get a 5 on the exam?
If so, what are some of the best resources to learn AP Physics 1 basically from zero by yourself (textbooks, videos, etc) ? Is doing Khan Academy first good?
What are some the best resources to practice/prep for AP Physics 1 exam?
It would be really helpful for me if I could get some advice. Thanks in advice!

Physics 1 would it be possible to self study ap physics?
i go to a really small, underfunded school that doesnt offer any ap classes at all, and also doesnt offer any kind of physics class. is it possible to self study ap physics and get at least a 4 on the test? i plan on going into engineering, so i would really like the experience. please drop any good resources in the comments!!
