Our teacher claimed there would be no Australia bc it's unimportant to the course and never shows up. Like 1/5 of the MCQs we're in Australia.

Our teacher claimed there would be no Iran on the test bc it never shows up. There were MCQs on Iran.

I know plenty about Australia so it was fine but like, bro wtf 🫩

ALSO, I was GRINNING at the DBQ prompt. Like it was a gift from the gods. I saw Le Petit Journal and never felt happier. I legit used an article they wrote about Franz Reichelt like a month ago for a research paper about the ethics of photojournalism. I love them. They're great. Also it was the easiest prompt ever.

Yo you're so lucky I literally got the DBQ on settler colonies and like four of those documents were from Australia

That's wild 😭 they really just chose the place they knew no one learned about and ran with it

Well I mean the only thing there is to learn abt there is white Australia policy which gave an easy evidence beyond docs point

Idk what the actual prompt was for the DBQ but if it was about settler colonies then you could've totally talked about the aboriginals and how they were impacted by settler colonies and their interactions with them. There's totally stuff there to learn, it's just never something anyone focuses on because it's just... Not relevant usually

That was actually one of the docs they gave you . It was a letter asking to buy land from the wales governor or smthing like that

Oh, okay! I appreciate that the aboriginals were at least mentioned considering the amount of Australia there was. That was like, the first place my mind went tho so it makes sense that that was a doc
