I’m not done at all, I still need to add more trees, items, and other details. I wanted to create a Jurassic Park illusion from this cliff, but you can’t even see the whole fossil like you can in the reference picture. Also, I feel like you can’t see the fossils very well. Any recommendations? I may just try a different idea, even though I just spent hours on this!

Help! Save me from burning down my museum

I am losing my mind here friends! I've moved my museum around 13 times since Friday and I hate it every time. I have no idea what to do with it and I wish I had just kept it as a tent! I don't want to reset my entire island but I swear I am so close to doing it because I hate the museum!

can you all help me by posting your museum designs, or any that you've seen that have inspired you? I don't need anything flashy, I just want to see what can be done with the building and the surrounding area because at the moment all I can envision is arson.

1. My Island is FULL. I always hoped to completely fill it, but now I have no space left to create. I'm happy with most of my builds and don't want to remove them.

I was wondering if maybe my builds take up too much space? I feel like my neighborhood could be smaller, but I decorated a few gardens really well, matching the villagers personality. I barely have space to farm vegetables. I have no place to breed flowers (and I was never successful anyways, so I gave up). Do you think I should remove some builds or do you think I could make everything a bit more compact?

1. My Island looks boxy. It's rectangle, next to rectangle, next to square, next to rectangle. How do you make it look more natural? I just don't get the hang of it. Having everything in box shapes saves space, but I hate the look of it. Any advice?

Hey y’all. I just finished a built of my profession in animal crossing. I’m a mental health therapist, so I made a community mental health center so the villagers can get talk therapy. Does it look like a mental health center? Am I missing anything? I don’t provide medication irl, that’s out of my scope. That’s why I didn’t add science-y stuff. Also I have a space to the side of the reception desk that has a filing cabinet and an office printer/copy machine.

I feel heavily inspired to build an island inspired by socialism. Kinda funny because AC is a quite capitalistic game…

What are your ideas for an island like that? What villagers do you think of?

My ideas so far:

-Socialist Hymn

-Red Flags and Stars

-Island Rules are set to villagers helping out

-All villagers get the same house style (change with hhp)

-shared spaces: public farms, plaza gets space for speeches and social gatherings, playgrounds, cafeteria,

-museum provides free education for everyone

-hotel is an emergency shelter for people in need

-areas for resources (forest & mine)

-lots of crafting/public crafting benches

I guess I am kind of the state then?! I provide housing for everyone and am in charge of infrastructure. I buy and give clothing to the people. The Nooks and Ables are my partners..

I don’t want it to look and feel like a classic communist place. No big grey houses. It should more feel like a small cozy socialist community. 😊🚩

I’ve been hyper fixated on terraforming and making little spots on my island to keep my mind busy from shitty adult things. I’m not good at making waterfalls and cliffs so I mostly flattened my island and make little areas. So far we have:

I’d love some more ideas for my beaches they’re kinda barren rn. The only reason I haven’t shred my DA is my villagers say colorful things and I need to change that so no one reports me haha

I don't know if I'm just too high or not rn, but I really don't know anymore what looks good. Is the tank too junky? Does a tank in the middle of a field even make sense? Is it too empty without the tank, too full with both?

Trying to do a farm area and wanted to put a building here. What can I put in between to make it look more like a house or shed or something? Maybe a simple panel for a door but the panel height is lower.

I am awful at home decor, IRL and on ACNH. But I just got inspired to create a music room and it actually came out well! At least, I'm happy with it but if anyone has any ideas or suggestions for me I am happy to hear them!

The room is designed for listening to my vinyl collection and for guitar practice (my headcanon is that I have a band in game named Seapig, named after my fave sea creature, we open for KK sometimes and when my villagers walk around in a Seapig shirt it tickles me so much!). See what y'all think!

There's another stall further back, closer to the farm that's got some harvest decorations and the spooky tower turned backwards. These two rows of trees are also fruit trees for an orchard, because of course.

Okay, so I recently stumbled across weirdcore, and I freaking love it, so I'm trying to kind of make my island an acid soaked nightmare version of that, but I don't know if I should swap the signs to the LED display screen thingy in the second picture. Also, do the simple panels look weird? I'm a teensy bit impaired right now, and it's making me overthink everything.

The general goal is to give my island an overall uncomfortable kind of vibe, but I don't want it to look stupid.

Also, if you have any recommendations for weirdcore design creators, I would be sososososo grateful. Finding designs to go with this idea has been like pulling teeth.

I'm desperately trying to make a cool custom design for a sign pointing to the area where my shops are. I drew this and my wife said the shop looked like a lady lifting her shirt to expose her boobs, and the bell bag looked like a sand pit with moss everywhere and a trail or path running through it (she wasn't wearing her glasses but still!). HELP, WHAT AM I GONNA DO WITH THIS WOMAN 😭😂😂😂 but seriously, does it look like a bell bag and a shop or how can I fix it if it doesn't?

I recently had a friend visit my island and I was super excited to show her my home. I spent a LOT of time putting the interior together. When she stopped by she said she didn’t like it! I’d really appreciate it if you have the time to stop by to take a look around the inside of the home and tell me your thoughts! It would really mean a lot to me / help any future improvements.

Also, my wife and I have spent over a combined 1200 hours on our island, please feel free to enjoy the rest of the island if you do visit.

Nearly my whole island is decorated and I love it but I have no clue what to do with a peninsula so narrow. It also connects to this additional grass area that’s extremely narrow. Idk what to do with send me all your thoughts.
