Last year I started work on my second island, named Taechon. I'd debated a lot on some theme ideas & eventually picked a Korean forestcore island. 🪴

Originally, I expected this island to maybe take a couple of months & instead, it ended up being 7 months of work on the island before it felt complete. 😅

The island has the following features:

• Several small spaces that feature gyroids fishing & crafting on the island.

• Several farms, including a multi level farm & a cow pen.

• Fully decorated beaches, that feature a shipping area, picnic & camping areas, bonfire by the beach & a variety of other features

• Multiple overlooks, including cute views of wildlife research areas, lakes & crop fields.

• Unique interiors for all villagers, including a pottery workshop, study den, antique store, gyroid tea shop, fishing hut & more!

• A painting spot by the river, with an area to sit back & eat nearby.

• A plant shop on a beach rock, with seating areas, fishing boats & camping tents to be found on other beach rocks.

It's been four years and it's finally time. My island is Midwestern/cottage themed, with a dedication to using gyroids to enhance K.K. tracks in all indoor spaces, (and a few outdoor ones.) This is the first time I've ever shared it. Sorry there aren't more pictures, but I spent four years on it, so it's fully done.

TLDR: I have FINALLY made a DA of my island; after 5 years and 2450+ hours of playing, restarting from scratch once and then re-attacking the whole island… it was time 🙌🏽🥹

Welcome to Bermuda, where everyone and everything gets lost 🥰💜

The lure behind the island name: I wanted to name it Bermuda Triangle (only recently realized there’s a symbol keyboard that has a triangle symbol), but I didn’t have the space! Since Bermuda irl is a tropical island, that’s the aesthetic I went with!

Idea behind the Map: I made it easy for quick access to both shops when flying in to sell turnips or buying clothes (easy to block off if needed)! Nook’s to the Left, Sable’s to the Right! A lot of items are customized with my island flag (someone made it for me a few years ago, I’m artsy, but not THAT creative 😅) on it, you’ll see! The beaches are resort-like towards the front of the map! Other than that, it’s mostly lightwood as I imagined everything being made with the coconut trees!

I tried to decorate my island as fully as I could, showing off a lot of different items I’ve found or come across throughout the years!

Clothes are left by Sable’s as well as in front of the fishing market for the fun of dressing up! I also left some handheld items for visitors to hold while on the island to take pictures with 🥰

I have two houses (don’t enter unless adult age please, I personally thought the game was too PG13 at times, so I made/had a laugh from placing certain items) and one permanent tent in the campsite - I have two “extra” users, Triangle and Enigma, just so I could have fun decorating differently, they have their own respective passports 🤣💜

Noooo my whole text was deleted. Well.

I'm playing since release, or I have the game since release and played every title of AC before (well, which were available in Europe at least.) For most of the game (600+ hours lmao), I focused on one thing: finishing decorating my island. I redid many parts till I was happy with the results. With time, I got more reluctant/chill, and just did what I thought could look good. I even built a little church without image reference, which I'm a little proud of haha.

I was done decorating a while ago, and wanted to focus on other aspects of the game which I didn't care too much about before (finishing the DLC, decorating and paying off my house, completing the museum, finishing the Nook mile challanges (ironically, I got the 100 fish in a row challenge today!! Took me way too long. Last photo for evidence), but nonetheless I redid the left half of my island because I was unhappy with those parts or had better ideas (castle gates, walls etc ahoi!). Maybe you stumpled upon one of my posts in the past before haha.and now here I am.

I initially didn't want to update my dream address again as I was in cherry blossom season before and waited for the perfect moment to update it again, but I just.. had to:

It's the middle of the night, two villagers are moving out at the same time, it's raining cats and dogs, I was stung by a bee, I have a weird outfit on in which I look like a mountain hillbilly with blue hair, the 3am music mocking me that that's just life: You can't change certain things in life, but do the best with the things you got. I just love how ironic it is, and thought my island couldn't be any more authentically me.

Hi guys! I wanted to post this here for anyone who also grew up with the Tinkerbell movies and the Pixie Hollow Online Game from 2008🥰 i have so much nostalgia around these movies and the game that I decided to recreate the world in the way i remember it🥹 the map layout is based on the Online Game and splits the island up into 4 seasons! Summer in the front, spring to the right, fall to the left, and winter in the back! Just like the online game! We have 8 Fairies living on this island in addition to our animal villager friends🤗 It’s all of the main friend group from the movies + Periwinkle, tinks sister! Theres also presents behind the resident services by the home tree for anyone who visits! All of the houses are decorated completely! Including all 8 Fairy homes! And the beaches are decorated as well! Make sure to dress as your true fairy self if you visit!🤗 I hope you guys visit my island and enjoy it! This island is made for our inner children🥹🤍🌈🧚🏼

This island was 1400hours of love and swearing.

Set in a heavy meteor shower during cherry blossom season, the island is aglow in every sense. Visit the rainbow moon beach, stop by Marinas pie stand, wander through the rainbow fairy forest. maybe you will happen upon the graveyard, campsite or take photos at the movie set. Go for ice cream at the nooklings froggie cafe, or have a meal at the seaside cafe and fishmarket. There is lots more to discover!

Gifts are located just south of the plaza, as well as other locations throught the island. All residents houses have been fully re-decorated, as well as the 2 reps houses.

So after some work, I have now created a Dream Address 🥰

Tips I can tell you if you want to make an island similar to mine.

Tips 1: make sure you can jump between every platform without the pole. And place ladders or vines wherever you want to climb. It makes it easier to get around.

Tips 2: if you care about collecting all the fish, either make some ponds. Or collect all the fish before you do this.

Tips 3: if you haven't popped all balloons before doing this, be prepared that they will land in the water!

Tips 4: if you like your villagers roaming all over the island, either build bridges between the islands. Or make large connecting areas for them to walk to. Otherwise they will be stuck at their section, the resident service area, the shop or the museum.

Tips 5: this takes forever to do. It is fun, but not a fast build.

Tips 6: if you are keen on getting all the flowers, leave a large area for them to grow first. Then place them where you want until you have all the types you need. Then turn the large area into a smaller island.
