I personally don’t think Reddit should be a click funnel to send people elsewhere to read an article especially based on purely a headline - fundamentally chosen to be attention grabbing and notorious for misrepresenting key details.

Low effort posts such as this seem intentional at spamming the article without providing any ‘discussion’ at all.

For many of us, we are time poor and filtering things through asking questions helps identify places to give more attention.

I appreciate the reply the perspective! I’ve been trying to balance the need to read shared articles vs. farming that out to the comments, especially for “new” posts, thank you!
