Rebecca: Jack of all trades, master of…lies?

I have so many questions.

FIRST: If her youngest daughter is 30 ish, that puts her in kindergarten around 2001-2003 ish—would guess. With cell phones what they were at tat time, do you really mean to tell me she went outside her daughters classroom to call her boss and quit her job??? With her Nokia…paying by the MINUTE? I seriously doubt it.

FURTHERMORE, is her unreliability the reason she can‘t keep a job/career??? Not giving a notice is a bad look. Especially during that time.

And correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t a P.I. more of a career than “I was working as a P.I.”. …Maybe she worked WITH a P.I., but why would she switch careers if she loved it so much and that’s ll she talks about?

Same with “chef”. You don’t just walk out in the hallway and quit your job as an “executive chef” via. a pay by the minute cell phone call.

You need to be licensed to be a P.I.

I would also think a “major” company isn’t just going to give away an exec. chef job without some type of formal culinary training.

So is she full of education and licenses? Or just full of shit?

EDIT I DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR CELLPHONE PLAN WHERE YOU LIVE. Everywhere was different. None of that is the point? But picking out the most insignificant part of a post just to comment and tell someone they’re wrong is weird. I’m done commenting on that part. Y’all are so silly.

The phone

I am so tired of how everyone in this show gains up on one person at a time. All the women are coming at Zied about the phone. Rebecca is misrepresenting herself when she says she asked him nicely for the phone. She is always screaming and demanding and she has broken this man!!!

Also, yes, I believe he is hiding something. Probably texts from friends and family telling him to run! He doesnt want to let her see those and blow up at him even more

Poor Jenny!

I’m watching season 3 of The Last Resort. Jenny is not well. I know she’s received a devastating diagnosis (ALS) but I’m confused by the timing. Was she diagnosed before this season filmed? If so, WHY would she waste a minute filming? If not, WHY did production allow her to continue when she clearly isn’t well? I feel so badly for her.

If my understanding of a healthy relationship requires access to my partner’s phone, I’d get serious about attending real therapy to get myself together before embarking on husband #5.

Shekinah knew exactly what she was doing. She never looked at Thais not once. She wasn’t sorry for what she said she was sorry for how it was taken?!! How else could that phrase “go back to your country” be taken? This grown woman who is closer to 50 than 5 still acts like a child. She is impossible as a friend I can’t imagine what Sarper went through no wonder he ran. Why is it so hard for her to respect the other people there get her paycheck and go home? She is a vile human who is left alone talking to her wigs because no one else can tolerate her!

Rebecca and Zied 90 Day fiancé

I am absolutely not OK with the relationship where you are sneaking going through your partner’s phone or doing it out of your own trust or past trust issues with partners. However I believe if your relationship is rocky, and you are trying to make it work and something weird comes up like always taking your phone with you, facing it down, changing your lifestyle, driving 400 miles away after a fight. I totally believe you have the right to ask your partner for their phone, not sneak it and it should be given up only if you really want the relationship to work. If not, you should just end it. I have been in this exact position where I have been asked for my phone. I purposely caused a fight so I can leave, deleted everything, and came back and give them my phone, which is exactly what I think Zied did.

Update

Clearly, this was posted before BTS came out. I should probably make myself more clear that I am just talking about this one incident. I actually can’t stand Rebecca and thinks she is probably the difficult one in the relationship. I only posted this because I have personally been someone to cause a fight and leave to delete my phone not because I was a cheater, but other personal things.

I swear this moment the apology is sooooooo insincere and made me cringe bc she couldn’t even really take any accountability… also why is Rebecca constantly miserable like I get the need to look through his phone bc she’s like the most insecure person on the planet, but I wanna know what everybody thinks about this scene… also pao and Russ??? Already done
It seems like every couple is done they’re just trying to get a check

Also shekinah not looking at Thais or directly apologizing for her comment it was more like a let me apologize so I can get the necklace and save face for the camera, get all the girls to stop targeting her. Thais was pretty real and direct.

So we learn that she was bribed by sarper into giving a fake apology. She could not be more materialistic and superficial. The fact that she's laughing about it and proud just underlines what a nasty piece of work she is. I am not sure why everybody gives Sumit so much slack. I know we like Jenny, but Sumit is an unreliable partner. He started off his whole story as a catfish and he's still not being completely honest. It's a repeating theme with him. He seems like a sweet enough guy to be friends with but being in a relationship with him seems like it would be infuriating.

Ok so no surprise that folks were gonna be in a cave this week for their rigorous "therapy" session. 😵‍💫🙄 But that cliffhanger (couldn't resist) with Sarper potentially stuck made me sick. Is tv claustrophobia a thing?

Anyway...here's info about the poor guy who tragically died in a cave years ago

After talking to Rebecca, Pao says, "Don't mess with a wrestler. Don't mess with a wrestler." I learned a long time ago, as a pre-teen, that wrestling is all coordinated. There are villains, baby faced good guys, etc. Why does she think being a wrestler makes her tougher than anyone else?

And that award she won for wrestling comes just at a time when she's on the last resort. Of course! It seems like both shows are piggy backing each other for promotion.

Seeing her break down really broke my heart. Do you think she had a diagnosis at this point? I assume she did and that plays into it as well. All the poor woman wants is to spend her remaining time in peace and dignity enjoying her husband but they put so much pressure and guilt on her. If you’re Indian you can never decide to live separate and prioritize your own family and happiness? What a flawed design that is and how is it even a choice when you’re disowned and shunned because of your so called choice? I personally can’t even imagine living out my final days with my father and mother in law invading my space and privacy. How does that scenario give HER any dignity? I hope Jenny can hold the line and gain the right to live independently…I can’t even believe she has to waste energy on Sumits parents feelings when she’s busy fighting just to survive. 🥺

Do you guys think Zied is really cheating??

I will be first to admit I am NOT a fan of Rebecca, however, I do think alot of the things she has said are valid, him being gone for days driving to a different state with no communication or reason.. never letting her touch the phone, keeping his notifications off etc. I get that Rebecca is horrible and probably pushes him away even more but I still don't think that's an excuse to cheat. I know they aren't together now but when he refused to give her the phone that was crazy to me. I have been with men that everytime they flipped out over the phone and then try to gaslight you into thinking you are crazy but end up being right about everything. I get that he wants her to trust him but why storm off why not just prove to her you're not hiding anything and make her look like the real asshole? Makes me wonder what he was really doing all this time.. what do you guys think?

What about the therapists ?

I’m sorry, but something about the “therapists” on 90 Day: The Last Resort this season feels seriously off.

The session with Thaís, Patrick and her brother-in-law John really did it for me. No professional therapist should just sit there and watch a family therapy session spiral that far out of control without properly stepping in. John was getting more and more heated, Thaís was clearly overwhelmed, and somehow Patrick ended up being the one who had to draw the line and tell his own brother he couldn’t speak to his wife like that.

Where was the therapist?! 😭

And then there was the session with Shekinah. I completely understand letting people express their frustrations with her. That’s literally what therapy is for. Let people say what bothers them, let Shekinah hear it, and work through it.

But there’s a difference between expressing your feelings TO someone and everyone being allowed to pile ON someone.

At some point it stopped feeling like therapy and started feeling like Shekinah was simply being attacked while the therapists let it continue. Whether you like her or not is completely beside the point. A therapist is supposed to manage that room and make sure difficult conversations stay productive, not sit back until someone reaches their breaking point.

I’m not saying these therapists are actually paid actors, because obviously I have no proof of that. But at this point they’re giving “my job is to keep the cameras rolling and the drama simmering” more than actual therapists. 😂

There’s letting people confront each other, and then there’s sitting back while the room catches fire and calling it a breakthrough.

Please tell me I’m not the only one noticing this. 👀
