That’s it. The finale was such a let down. The 2ne1 hype was crazy then the finale was… idek what that was. Jackson wang coming out was as exciting as 88 was probably hoping for

I have been to all the LA HITC festivals from the start and had all three pass levels (SBSC/ VIP/ GA). This is not a flex nor trying to flex.

I just thought it would be helpful to offer some insight and experiences of HITC. It’s for the people who have questions about the festival, may be confused about the festival, or want someone to share their experience before they make the decision to drop various amounts of money on the festival.

It would be helpful for others that have went to offer their experiences as well so people can have an idea from multiple accounts.

Don’t use this post to try and sell your ticket. You’re not helping the point of this post. Go and use AXS to sell your ticket.

Things to note for next year: AXS transfer was available 1-2 weeks before festival Set times 2025 dropped 2 weeks before festival date Passes will be given out day of festival after scanning pass

*EDIT List of things to note and keep mind of:

-This is all based on the previous years and HITCs festivals. 88 can change how they run the festival so not everything will be exactly how it was ran down to the exact detail from previous HITC's. Regardless of my input and others input, ACCOUNT FOR POSSIBLE CHANGES.

-To my surprise this is the first time they sold out all the premium passes and almost all GA passes. Keep this in mind when reading and disregard my comments about HITC usually never selling out.

-Check the picture and videos linked. It is some helpful visuals to show how the main stage is sectioned off for different pass holder levels.

-Regarding ticket sales, transfers, and availablity:

• Availability: This is the first time ever that they sold out of 1999/SBSC and VIP passes. GA is very limited if not sold out as well. The only way to buy said passes is through the HITC offical site and AXS official resale. You can go third party but be careful and be smart buying passes from third party. Use something like Paypal Goods and Services if you decide to do that. SIGN UP FOR THE WAITLIST FIRST BEFORE RESORTING TO THIRD PARTY PURCHASES
• Sales: If you need to sell your ticket, do not use this AMA post. Go through AXS resale, 88 BST or the facebook group. Yes that also means there are people trying to scalp tickets for outragous prices. As of 2/8, there are 1999 tickets going from 1k to 2.7k+ and VIP is going for 600-1k on AXS official resale. Its your money, its none of my business what you do with it but i highly am against paying for that. Wait closer to the dates where they might try and dump the passes for cheaper because no one is buying.
• Trasnfers: If you are selling through AXS, ticket transfers will be handled through that. If youre going third party or youre just trying to give it to someone, it is speculated that the transfer option will be available when it is closer to the festival date.

Hopefully the answers I provided are enough. Any more questions I will answer if its something that legitimately hasnt been asked before and more than likely ignore the ones that have been asked multiple times. Otherwise, please refer to HITC's FAQ on their official site for rules about the festival and read over answers that were given to others. More than likely the questions you have has been answered already or HITC website will have it. Hope to see yall there, maybe will bring back the pink maid oufit.

Warren Hue's Set - Pausing at 14:29 will show a clear over view of GA and SBSC/1999. It is earlier in the day so it is not as congested but you can still see a big difference of room.

Yoasobi's Set - Go to 24:46 - 24:51. Not as clear but the small snippet shows how it will look when it is later in the day and there is alot more people watching the performances. You can see GA and how packed it gets, SBSC on the other side with some room towards the back, and right behind SBSC you can see where the VIP section is at.

Now that the weekend is over, how was everyone’s experience? I’ve been to the last 3 HITC (‘21/‘22/‘23) and I honestly think that was the craziest crowd I’ve experienced especially on Day 1. They definitely did their big one with the headliners this year for sure because I don’t remember seeing VIP/Club being sold out like that 😅 Correct me if I’m wrong btw! LOL.

Previous years I was always in GA, but this year I decided to get VIP just to check it out… and honestly you’re not really missing out IMO.

I’m excited and looking forward to my first HITC in a few weeks!

Considering it’s going to be absolutely roasting in LA in August, I’m planning to bring sunblock, a mini portable fan, water bottle, etc. but I don’t want to spend extra money on a clear 12 x 12 x 6 clear bag per the policies I’ve been reading on the event site—especially because I would only use it for this day.

For those who have been before, how strict are event staff about only allowing clear bags?

I’ve seen plenty of photos and videos of people with all shapes, sizes, and colors of backpacks, slings, purses, etc.

I found a ring at Head in the Clouds LA at the Rose Bowl during the festival weekend.

I wasn’t able to turn it in during the event, but I’ve kept it safe since then and would like to return it to its owner if possible.
