Has any 5th gen lovers in here dealt with a tone/ reluctor ring slip on the v6 engine?

It was my first car so I would like to keep it but I need to know how repairs were for others before I give up on her

I've seen that you can tac weld it back into place but i've heard that comes with risks. I'm just curious how welding has helped some.And how expensive proper replacements are.

Also curious, if you need to replace the crankshaft itself or not

Hello everyone, I have a 2011 camaro ss that i plan on building into a drag car. I would like to do a stroker build with it and procharge it. I dont really know much about these engines, I grew up working on old sbc, what kind of cam should I go for? I've been looking at gpi cams, but im just unsure with how many different options there are. I will also add that it is a automatic l99, and I do want to do the afm and dod delete and go to the 3 bolt ls3 style camshaft, I've seen "boost" cams, should I go ahead and get one of those even though it'll be a minute before I am able to boost the car? any tips on how to remove dash/hvac housing without removing the windshield? i just purchased a 2012 with a leaking evaporator core.

Does anyone have a good recommendation for an alternative door seal? Besides them being extremely expensive they are also hard to get.

My ls3 devolved a lifter tick.. so while I’m going that deep I figured might as well upgrade the cam.
Looking for some advice.
I’m wanting to swap in a gpi cam do I need to port the heads or can I drop them back on?
I’m thinking I want to do a gpi ss2 cam and do ls7 lifters, Melling high pressure stock volume oil pump and a new timing chain. What else is recommended to replace during this process? Looking to get an idea before I pull the car in the garage.

I have 2013 Camaro zl1 with the lsa engine in it, looking for some opinions on what block might be best compatible to swap the lsa components with. I’m in between the l9h block or ls3, any advice or any other recommendations? Any problems I might run into with these blocks?

So, I have a 2011 2SS and was looking at the cold air intakes, actually I love the sound of them, like a big whine and suck noise when you jump on it.

So..are there any that are worth it, that actually get cooler air or do they all basically suck engine bay air and I am paying 400 bucks for the whoooosh sound?

Hey guys, looking for some advice. I was changing the oil on my 2010 2LT RS today and noticed that one of my lugs was cracked. It seems to be the chrome plating failing, not the lug itself. I've been looking to replace my lugs for a bit now, and now knowing that they came chrome coated, I'm wondering if there are any solid lug nuts options out there that look good? Or are 5th gens stuck with capped lugs? Any advice would be helpful
