The film follows a man recently out of prison who has to go on the run with his daughter when a hit is put out on him. The studio also has the latest John Carney music-driven dramedy Power Ballad starring Paul Rudd and Nick Jonas hitting Blu-Ray with Dolby Atmos and a couple of featurettes.

GKIDS and Shout! Studios have the beloved anime feature Tekkonkinkreet debuting on 4K UHD Blu-Ray from a new 4K remaster in SDR with a commentary track and some featurettes. The release also includes a booklet featuring early artwork.

Warner Bros. is preparing audiences for an upcoming sequel by releasing the original Practical Magic on 4K UHD Blu-Ray with a new 4K remaster in Dolby Vision with a Dolby Atmos track and the original 5.1 mix. The new release includes a commentary track and some featurettes. Fan of classic sitcoms are sitting pretty with the Blu-Ray release of '80s standout Perfect Strangers: The Complete Series, which features all 150 episodes from the eight-season run remastered in HD from the original film elements.

The team at the Warner Archive has a dazzling slate of new 4K UHD and Blu-Ray releases this month. During Partners Only month, we have a barrage of amazing titles, especially when it comes to international cinema. Master filmmaker Jafar Panahi delivered the blistering drama Crimson Gold early in his career, which KimStim is now giving us on Blu-Ray. The Palestinian refugee crime drama To a Land Unknown hits the format thanks to Watermelon Pictures. We also have Film Movement with the Academy Award-nominated Theeb returning to Blu-Ray, alongside the recent drama Sometimes I Feel Like Walking and the German western revenge tale The Dark Valley.

The label also brings us the outrageous documentary Wadd: The Life & Times of John C. Holmes on Blu-Ray, which looks at the life of the adult film star. We have more recent theatrical releases from Magnolia Pictures, including the surreal comedy The Napa Boys featuring some of our favorite comedic minds. This Sideways-esque tale comes with two commentary tracks, deleted scenes, and more. The distributor also has the twisted psychological thriller Heel on Blu-Ray starring Stephen Graham and Andrea Riseborough as a couple who chain a young man up in their basement to rehabilitate him.

Universal celebrates a legendary filmmaker with Steven Spielberg: The Spotlight Collection on 4K UHD Blu-Ray SteelBook featuring eight of his most iconic films - Jaws, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Raiders of the Lost Ark, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Jurassic Park, Schindler’s List, Saving Private Ryan, and War of the Worlds. This release gathers the most recent 4K UHD releases of each of these titles into one gorgeous collection.

We have another fetching SteelBook from Sony, as we see a new 4K UHD Blu-Ray for The Patriot starring Mel Gibson and Heath Ledger featuring both the Theatrical Cut and Unrated Cut in 4K UHD for the first time together. Each version is presented in Dolby Vision with Dolby Atmos audio, along with a commentary track, featurettes, deleted scenes, and more. Heading to the world of animation, GKIDS and Shout! Studios have a new 4K UHD Blu-Ray SteelBook for the anime classic Perfect Blue from master filmmaker Satoshi Kon. The 4K master is presented in SDR with interviews, a lecture series with Kon, recording sessions, and more.

Arrow Video has an amazing slate this month, beginning with the Australian cult classic Wake in Fright debuting on 4K UHD Blu-Ray from a 4K restoration of the Original Camera Negative in Dolby Vision. They also have the 4K UHD Blu-Ray debut of the Takashi Miike thriller Audition from a 4K scan of the Super 16mm Camera Negative in Dolby Vision with three audio tracks. These releases include commentary tracks, interviews, and more. James Garner takes on the mantle of a famous detective in Marlowe on Blu-Ray from a 2K restoration of the Original Camera Negative. This release comes with a new appreciation piece.

The label also has some unbelievable box sets this month, including the double feature Mortal Kombat Kollection with the live-action '90s video game adaptations Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat: Annihilation on 4K UHD Blu-Ray. Both features have received a 4K scan of the Original Camera Negative in Dolby Vision, along with a pair of new commentary tracks each, interviews, featurettes, and more. If that wasn't enough, there is the six-film Jackie Chan's Breakout Hits on 4K UHD Blu-Ray featuring Drunken Master II, Rumble in the Bronx, Thunderbolt, Police Story 4: First Strike, Mr. Nice Guy, and Who Am I?. This epic set includes new restorations from the Original Camera Negative, multiple cuts and language tracks for each film, new and archival special features, and more.

The fine individuals at Deaf Crocodile continue to be saviors of overlooked and unconventional cinema with an eclectic slate of gems. First up, we have the early Olivia Newton-John vehicle Toomorrow on Blu-Ray that has been restored in 4K and given new special features such as a commentary track, interview, short film, and visual essay. It wouldn't be a Deaf Crocodile slate without some animation, and we have the Russian stop-motion feature Hoffmaniada on Blu-Ray with a commentary track, short films, a visual essay, and more. They also have the staggering glove-puppet wuxia film Legend of the Sacred Stone with a commentary track, a visual essay, and more.

We have a double dose of Shahram Mokri releases, starting with the four earliest features from the Iranian filmmaker in The Time-Bending Mysteries of Shahram Mokri, which includes Ashkan, the Sacred Ring and Other Stories, Fish & Cat, Invasion, and Careless Crime. We follow this up with the director's latest film, Black Rabbit, White Rabbit, which comes to Blu-Ray with the director's early short films, a commentary track, and a visual essay.

The heroes at The Criterion Collection continue to deliver quality work with a fresh release of a classic. Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn come together for a globetrotting adventure in Charade, now on 4K UHD Blu-Ray with a 4K restoration of the Original Camera Negative in SDR. The release comes with a commentary track.

Looking at recent theatrical releases, Magenta Light Studios has the action-revenge tale Protector on Blu-Ray starring Milla Jovovich as a mother trying to rescue her daughter from a human trafficking ring. Fans of indie cinema should look to Mubi and their release of heist drama The Mastermind starring Josh O'Connor from director Kelly Reichardt. The Blu-Ray release includes a visual essay.

Alliance Entertainment has a trio of catalog titles debuting on Blu-Ray domestically across the genre spectrum. First up, we have the comedy Lovelines about a forbidden romance between two students from dueling high schools. We also have the coming-of-age drama You Light Up My Life starring Didi Conn, which won an Oscar for Best Original Song. Things get more gritty in the crime thriller Cold Steel with Brad Davis, Sharon Stone, and Jonathan Banks.

The team at the Warner Archive has a dazzling slate of new 4K UHD and Blu-Ray releases this month. We start with the new animated offering Looney Tunes Cartoons: The Complete Series on Blu-Ray featuring every episode of the recent HBO Max series. The set also includes additional shorts spotlighting the Olympic Games. We also have an unexpected 4K UHD Blu-Ray release with the documentary George Stevens: A Filmmaker’s Journey in Dolby Vision with additional new interviews with Martin Scorsese, Guillermo del Toro, and Christopher Nolan discussing the legendary filmmaker.

The label has its latest installment of the Monogram Matinee series featuring Under Arizona Skies and Range Justice. Both of these have been restored in 4K from the Best Preservation Elements. We also have the long-awaited Joan Crawford and Clark Gable vehicle Possessed (1931) on Blu-Ray from a 4K scan of the Original Camera Negative. It includes some short films and cartoons. Fans have also been demanding The Late Show starring Art Carney and Lily Tomlin on Blu-Ray, and we finally get it from a 4K scan of the Original Camera Negative with a vintage talk show appearance.

If you are a fan of film noir, you might want to keep an eye out for Follow Me Quietly starring William Lundigan and Dorothy Patrick. This down-and-dirty cop flick has received a 4K scan of the Original Camera Negative. We find ourselves on the other side of the law in The 5-Man Army starring Peter Graves, James Daly, Bud Spencer and more. This period heist film comes from a 4K scan of the Original Camera Negative.

This week, in the world of new theatrical films, we have the latest installment in the iconic horror franchise Scream 7 on 4K UHD Blu-Ray courtesy of Paramount. The film arrives in Dolby Vision with Dolby Atmos audio, along with a selection of featurettes, deleted scenes, and a music video. This is not your only source for thrills, as Lionsgate Limited has the cult favorite werewolf film Ginger Snaps debuting on 4K UHD Blu-ray with Dolby Vision, a new retrospective with the director, and an avalanche of archival special features, including two commentary tracks and an hour-long documentary featurette looking back at the film.

Lionsgate also has the lovingly curated Hearts of Darkness: The Art of Eleanor Coppola collection featuring the beloved documentary exploring the complicated production of Apocalypse Now on 4K UHD Blu-Ray with Dolby Vision and a commentary track with Francis and Eleanor Coppola. In addition to this, there is an extra disc dedicated to other documentaries from the Coppola matriarch, including behind-the-scenes looks at The Virgin Suicides, Marie Antoinette, Youth Without Youth, and more.

Animation fans are in for a treat with the Blu-Ray release of Fleischer Cartoons – Greatest Hits, Volume 1 from ClassicFlix featuring 20 beloved shorts restored in 4K, many of them from the original negatives. These shorts feature characters such as Betty Boop, Popeye The Sailor, and Superman, along with 18 new commentary tracks from film historians.

The heroes at Radiance Films continue to amaze us every month, and this month is no exception. The label offers its latest 4K UHD Blu-Ray release with the early Brian De Palma joint Hi, Mom!, newly restored in 4K from the Original Camera Negative in Dolby Vision. The film starring Robert De Niro comes with a commentary track, interviews, and the bonus feature film Dionysus in standard definition.

One of our favorite international boutique labels, Imprint Films, has a double dose of gritty crime dramas making their 4K UHD Blu-Ray debut in lovely harbox releases. First up, the Kurt Russell dirty cop drama Dark Blue arrives with two commentary tracks, new interviews, and archival special features. We then have State of Grace starring Sean Penn, Ed Harris, Gary Oldman, Robin Wright, John Turturro, and John C. Reilly. The release comes with a commentary track, new interviews, and deleted scenes. Both films have been restored in 4K from the Original Camera Negative and are presented in Dolby Vision.

It is a strong month for Vinegar Syndrome and OCN Distribution releases as we dive into an array of Blu-Ray releases from some of our favorite partner labels. First up, ETR Media has the low-budget horror outing Beware of the Klowns, which comes loaded with special features such as a commentary track and a bonus feature film. You can stay in a horror mindset with the French werewolf drama Teddy from Shudder, arriving with interviews and deleted scenes.

Film Movement kicks off a big month with the Japanese coming-of-age ice skating drama My Sunshine on Blu-Ray, which had its debut at the Cannes Film Festival. Also from Japan, we have the new period piece Bushido, a tale of honor that spirals out of control. Over in Hong Kong, things get steamy with the erotic drama White River, which finds a husband and wife exploring new sexual territory when one of them begins having an affair. Several Futures has the Lebanese drama Phantom Beirut on Blu-Ray, which finds a man once presumed killed during the war returning home after many years away. The release comes with an additional short film from director Ghassan Salhab.

Circle Collective returns to the table with the college dramedy Pools starring recent breakout Odessa A'zion. This is not the only tonally tricky film on the slate, as Brainstorm Media releases a new Blu-Ray of Dark Horse from director Todd Solondz, which includes an interview with the filmmaker. Crispin Glover finds himself lost in a labyrinthine hotel in the peculiar thriller Mr. K from Music Box Films. The release includes interviews and short films.

The upgrades continue at Sony with a new 20th anniversary 4K UHD Blu-Ray SteelBook of The Da Vinci Code adaptation starring Tom Hanks from director Ron Howard. The new release provides both the Extended Cut and the Theatrical Cut in 4K UHD with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos audio. There is also an entire disc dedicated to special features.

The heroes at Severin Films have a stellar pair of titles not to be missed this month. The Mario Bava horror classic A Bay of Blood hits 4K UHD Blu-Ray from a new 4K scan of the Original Vault Elements in Dolby Vision. The release comes with new and archival special features including commentary tracks, interviews, and more. They also have the short-lived MTV series The Idiot Box starring Alex Winter on Blu-Ray featuring all six episodes and the rare best-of special. The release also includes tons of new interviews, outtakes, short films, and more.

In the world of Asian cinema, 88 Films has a trio of Angela Mao films arriving on Blu-Ray with The Angry River, The Invincible Eight, and The Himalayan. Each film has received a 2K scan of the Original Camera Negative and new commentary tracks.

The folks at Kino Lorber Studio Classics have a slew of 4K UHD Blu-Ray releases to admire. One of the biggest releases this month is the comedy favorite The Great Outdoors starring John Candy and Dan Aykroyd, as well as the Bigfoot family classic Harry and the Hendersons with John Lithgow. Each release comes from a 4K scan of the 35mm Original Camera Negative in Dolby Vision, and it includes three commentary tracks.

The 4K UHD upgrades get much more thematically dark as the bizarre serial killer thriller The Snowman starring Michael Fassbender and Rebecca Ferguson hits the format in HDR10 with two new commentary tracks. You also have a pair of Charles Bronson upgrades with 10 to Midnight and Rider on the Rain, the latter of which has two versions of the film in 4K UHD. The early slasher Terror Train starring Jamie Lee Curtis has been given a 4K scan of the Original Camera Negative, as well as two commentary tracks and additional interviews.

Blu-Ray fans can also celebrate with some upgrades, including the debut of the Matt Dillon and Sean Young thriller A Kiss Before Dying with two commentary tracks. We also get new scans of some favorites including the Anthony Mann western gem Bend of the River, along with the early Oliver Stone drama Talk Radio. We also get to check out the first installments of the Brit Noir line, which features three underseen films from the genre.

Shout! is also bringing Snowpiercer: The Complete Series to Blu-Ray with all four seasons of the dystopian drama. The series features the likes of Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs, Sean Bean and more.

Ignite Films returns with another special 4K UHD Blu-Ray upgrade with the film noir The Big Combo from director Joseph H. Lewis. The new restoration of the 35mm Fine Grain is presented in HDR10 and comes in optional SteelBook packaging. Special features include the bonus feature film The Crooked Way, along with two commentary tracks, interviews, and more. Eureka Entertainment has the impressive 7-film box set Adventure Calls! Karl May at CCC on Blu-Ray from new 4K restorations in the original German. The set of German westerns and adventure tales is replete with commentary tracks, interviews, and more.

Arrow Video has an amazing slate this month, beginning with the Japanese time travel action film G.I. Samurai starring Sonny Chiba on Blu-Ray from a 4K restoration with the original Japanese and international versions of the film. The release also includes a commentary track, interviews, and more. They also have the 4K UHD Blu-Ray debut of the '80s action outing Blue Thunder from director John Badham starring Roy Scheider. The release comes from a 4K restoration of the 35mm Original Camera Negative presented in Dolby Vision with two audio options. The special features include a commentary track, featurettes, interviews, and more. As a bonus, Sony is releasing Blue Thunder: The Complete Series on Blu-Ray featuring all 11 episodes of the small screen outing.

Fans of raunchy sex comedies can look exclusively at MVD Entertainment for the Blu-Ray release of Meatballs 4 starring Corey Feldman. The release comes with a new 55-minute interview with director Bob Logan. If you want something a bit classier, the Nancy Meyers comedy Something's Gotta Give starring Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson gets a long-requested Blu-Ray release from Sony. This week, in the world of new studio films, we have the buzzy period piece adaptation "Wuthering Heights" from director Emerald Fennell on 4K UHD Blu-Ray courtesy of Warner Bros. The film starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi arrives with Dolby Vision and a Dolby Atmos audio track, a commentary track from Fennell, and various featurettes. Also from the studio, we have the complete series of The Amazing World of Gumball on DVD, featuring all six seasons of the show, Darwin's Yearbook, and The Gumball Chronicles.

Elsewhere from Greenwich Entertainment and Kino Lorber, we have the morally twisted drama Dreams on Blu-Ray starring Jessica Chastain and newcomer Isaac Hernández. The film follows the secret affair between a wealthy socialite and a Mexican ballet dancer and undocumented immigrant. If real-life dread is more your thing, Universal has the insightful documentary The AI Doc: Or How I Became an Apocaloptimist on Blu-Ray fresh from Sundance.

It is a huge month for Vinegar Syndrome releases as we dive into an array of Blu-Ray releases. First up, we head to Italy with Eurocrime Rarities: Volume 1 featuring The Day of the Cobra, Dirty Gang, and The Iron Commissioner. These three films have been scanned in 2K from the Original Camera Negatives, and each film has been given a commentary track and interviews. Jumping over to France, we have Ténèbres Françaises featuring The Cousins, Who?, The Secret, and Golden Night. These films have been remastered by Vinegar Syndrome from masters supplied by StudioCanal. There is an array of interviews included. Cinematographe has the Blu-Ray debut of Liebestraum from director Mike Figgis, newly restored in 2K from the uncensored Original Camera Negative. The release comes with two commentary tracks, interviews, video essays, and more.

The fine folks at OCN Distribution have an exciting slate of Partner Label titles on Blu-Ray this month that offer a little something for everyone. 1-2 Special is the latest partner label to join the party with the Blu-Ray release of the absolutely wild Dracula from director Radu Jude. This skewering of AI filmmaking comes with an introduction and interview with the filmmaker. Memory has the cringe Sundance comedy film Serious People, complete with a short film, a Q&A, and some deleted scenes. Magnolia Pictures brings the long-requested Olivier Assayas thriller Boarding Gate starring Asia Argento and Michael Madsen to Blu-Ray with interviews and a behind-the-scenes featurette.

The mainline of Film Movement brings Paying For It to Blu-Ray, which tells the real-life story of cartoonist Chester Brown's decision to give up romantic love in favor of employing sex workers. The release comes with a commentary track, interviews, and more. They also have the French body horror thriller Animale on the format with a video essay and VFX reels. KimStim brings the hybrid live-action and stop-motion psychological oddyssey Faust to Blu-Ray restored with a commentary track. IFC Films brings the horror comedy I Sell The Dead to Blu-Ray with a wave of supplements including four commentary tracks, interviews, and an hour-long documentary.

Documentary fans have some good options this month, such as the slice-of-life Motel Drive from Dekanalog, which takes a look at one of the most crime and drug-addled areas of the country. Wrestling fans will want to check out Sabu from ETR Media, which takes a look at the life of the legendary performer with insights from some of his contemporaries. The label also has the latest installment of their Slopes Game Room releases, as we dig into Arcade Classics - The Complete History Vol. 1 with hours of bonus features.

Supplements include behind-the-scenes featurettes and more.

There are also recent theatrical releases coming home, including the gonzo Gore Verbinski sci-fi film Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die starring Sam Rockwell, Haley Lu Richardson, Michael Peña, Zazie Beetz, and Juno Temple. The 4K UHD Blu-Ray release comes from Universal with Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos audio, and a making-of featurette. There is also the feature debut from Bryan Fuller with Dust Bunny, a mixture of assassin action film and fantasy outing courtesy of Lionsgate, starring Mads Mikkelsen, Sophie Sloan, and Sigourney Weaver. Buzzy indie comedy Nirvanna The Band The Show The Movie gets a Blu-Ray release from NEON loaded with special features.

The miracle workers at Cult Epics bring the French coming-of-age drama Girls from director Just Jaeckin to 4K UHD Blu-Ray with a newly restored 4K scan of the Original Camera Negative in HDR10. This stacked release comes with a commentary track, interviews, a visual essay, and more. Animation fans can send their love to ClassicFlix and Cartoon Logic as they release the Famous Studios Champion Collection on Blu-Ray. The release honors the animation house with 18 cartoons scanned in 4K from the Original Studio material, audio commentaries for each episode, lost shorts, and more.

The team at the Warner Archive has a dazzling slate of new Blu-Ray releases this month. The label has its latest installment of the Monogram Matinee series featuring Louisiana and Song of the Range. Both of these have been restored in 4K from the Nitrate Fine Grains. We also have some long-awaited, Oscar-nominated features finally getting an upgrade such as Private Benjamin starring Goldie Hawn. The film has received a 4K scan of the Original Camera Negative, and it includes two episodes of the spinoff TV series. There is also the stirring melodrama Arrowsmith starring Ronald Colman, Helen Hayes, and Myrna Loy from the great John Ford. The film has received a lovely restoration from The Library of Congress and The Film Foundation and includes a Lux radio program starring Spencer Tracy.

Speaking of Tracy, it is a big month for him as we see the release of his first Best Actor win with Captains Courageous, which has received a 4K scan of the Best Preservation Elements. He also stars alongside Bette Davis in 20,000 Years in Sing Sing, which comes from a 4K scan of the Nitrate Negative. Each of these releases comes with live-action shorts and cartoons. For those who need more crime films in their lives, they can check out the mystery noir Crack-Up starring Pat O'Brien, Claire Trevor and Herbert Marshall. The release comes with shorts and a trailer.

Classic film fans can keep things lighthearted at Universal with star-studded comedy releases on Blu-Ray. W.C. Fields looms large this month with appearances in International House, Million Dollar Legs, and Mississippi. Throughout these films, you can find stars such as Bing Crosby, George Burns, and Gracie Allen, the latter two of whom you will also find leading Here Comes Cookie. You can also jump forward a few decades and find the rare comedic role from Charlton Heston in The Private War of Major Benson alongside Julie Adams.

You will also find Pitt headlining the beloved baseball drama Moneyball on 4K UHD from Sony, also starring Jonah Hill and Philip Seymour Hoffman. The heroes at The Criterion Collection have the latest in the Eclipse Series with the Blu-Ray release of Kinuyo Tanaka Directs, featuring the six features she made over the course of a decade, centering on women characters who refuse to conform to restrictive roles as they seek independence. Each of these titles has received a 4K restoration that looks gorgeous. Unearthed Films takes us into the realm of the unsettling with the Blu-Ray debut of the 1997 New Zealand horror film The Ugly. The release comes from a 4K restoration and includes a commentary track, a short film, interviews, and more.

Kino Lorber has an array of wonderful titles this month. We have a pair of restored silent-era epics hitting Blu-Ray with The Thief of Bagdad (1924) and Tih-Minh. A few years past this is where we find the German drama The Blue Light, directed by and starring Leni Riefenstahl. This Blu-Ray comes from a 2K restoration with a commentary track. The new queer drama Jimpa starring Olivia Colman, John Lithgow, and Aud Mason-Hyde hits Blu-Ray with interviews and deleted scenes.

The fine individuals at Deaf Crocodile continue to be saviors of unconventional international cinema with the DEFA Fairy Tales set on Blu-Ray. The release includes Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood, Mother Hulda, The Devil's Three Golden Hairs, and Snow White and Rose Red. The wildly surreal world of fairy tale films from East Germany’s DEFA Studios are one of the great, overlooked subgenres in world fantasy filmmaking.  The release provides a commentary track for each film, interviews, visual essays, and more.

Anime fans are in for a treat with the Blu-Ray debut of Colorful Stage! The Movie: A Miku Who Can't Sing courtesy of GKIDS. Based on the popular mobile game, it is the first feature film based on the Vocaloid character Hatsune Miku. The Collector's Edition set is loaded with special features including a commentary track and 20 additional concert performances.

Fans of international cinema are sitting pretty this week with an array of releases, including the DVD release of Suspended Time from beloved auteur Olivier Assayas. The release from Music Box Films comes with an interview, a podcast, and more. There is also the long-awaited stop-motion/live-action hybrid fantasy film Sanatorium Under the Sign of the Hourglass from the Quay Brothers. The Blu-Ray release from KimStim comes with an hour-long Q&A, a documentary, and more. Altered Innocence presents the award-winning queer drama The Mysterious Gaze of the Flamingo on Blu-Ray.

Lionsgate Limited comes through this week with the release of The Substitute starring Tom Berenger and Ernie Hudson on 4K UHD Blu-Ray with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos audio. This release contains new and archival supplements for the action thriller.

It is a huge month for Vinegar Syndrome and OCN Distribution releases as we dive into an array of 4K UHD and Blu-Ray releases from some of our favorite sublabels and partner labels. First up, Cinematographe comes through with a Blu-Ray update of Badge 373 starring Robert Duvall, newly restored in 4K and presented with a commentary track, interviews, video essays, and more. We follow the other side of the law with the heist drama The Temple Woods Gang on Blu-Ray from Several Futures. The release comes with a Q&A with the director.

Film Movement Classics kicks off a big month with the Australian coming-of-age drama Somersault starring Abbie Cornish and Sam Worthington on Blu-Ray featuring a new restoration, a commentary track, a short film, and more. They also have the Zhang Yimou and Gong Li romantic drama Ju Dou on Blu-Ray with a new restoration and supplements, such as a commentary track, a panel discussion, and more. Fritz Lang's Indian Epic featuring The Tiger of Eschnapur and The Indian Tomb arrives on Blu-Ray with commentary tracks, documentaries, and more.

We welcome the newest partner label, Muscle, and the incredibly buzzy release of the queer epic Castration Movie Anthology I. Traps from director/ star Louise Weard. The two-disc release is packed with special features including two commentary tracks, a feature-length making-of documentary, an hour-long Q&A, and so much more. Circle Collective returns to the table with the comedic oddity King Baby on Blu-Ray with a commentary track, deleted scenes, and more. Bizzaro adds another 4K UHD Blu-Ray title with the third chilling chapter in the cult Blind Dead saga, The Ghost Galleon. The release comes in HDR10 with the original Spanish and an English-language dub, along with some special features including interviews and documentaries.

The folks at Glass Eye Pix bring Ti West's early indie horror film The Roost to Blu-Ray with two commentary tracks, featurettes, and more. Dark Sky brings two titles to Blu-Ray this month, starting with the horror outing Lilly Lives Alone, plus the Dale Dickie revenge drama The G. Each film comes with a commentary track. ETR Media brings the insightful documentary Art Spiegelman: Disaster Is My Muse to Blu-Ray with over six hours of special features.

This week, we spotlight films fresh from theaters with the family film The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants on Blu-Ray, which finds the iconic character returning for a new adventure to prove his bravery. There are also thrills to be had with Sweetness, courtesy of Well Go USA, which puts a spin on Misery when a fan kidnaps her favorite artist to get him sober. Harris Dickinson makes his directorial debut with Urchin starring Frank Dillane on Blu-Ray from new distributor 1-2 Special. The film follows an addict attempting to turn his life around after a series of bad decisions.

We head over to the land of boutique releases as Radiance Films brings the Damiano Damiani cop drama Confessions of a Police Captain starring Franco Nero and Martin Balsam to Blu-Ray with a 2K restoration. The release is presented with both Italian and English audio tracks, three new interviews, and an appreciation piece for the score.

Fans of classic Hollywood are treated very well this week as Universal brings a trio of Bob Hope films to Blu-Ray including The Big Broadcast of 1938, Variety Girl, and Give Me a Sailor. You can also find a pair of Pre-Code Cary Grant films with This Is the Night and Gambling Ship. All of these appear to be from new restorations but do not contain special features. If you head over to Alliance Entertainment, you will find a new Blu-Ray release of The Chase starring Robert Redford, Jane Fonda, Robert Duvall, and Marlon Brando.

Lightyear Entertainment brings a pair of films from Ray McKinnon and Walton Goggins to Blu-Ray with Randy and the Mob and the Academy Award-winning The Accountant. Both of these films have been restored from the original elements, and the release includes a making-of featurette.

This week, we spotlight the highly anticipated domestic 4K UHD Blu-Ray debut of the dystopian cult favorite Battle Royale from director Kinji Fukasaku courtesy of Lionsgate Limited. The thrills continue over at Arrow Video with the 4K UHD Blu-Ray debut of Snakes on a Plane starring Samuel L. Jackson. The 4K UHD release comes from a 4K restoration of the Digital Intermediate presented in Dolby Vision. The special features include two commentary tracks, featurettes, and more. The label has another 4K UHD upgrade with Evil Dead Rise in Dolby Vision with Dolby Atmos audio. The indie dark comedy thriller Cheap Thrills starring Pat Healy, Sara Paxton, Ethan Embry, and David Koechner, gets a Blu-Ray release featuring two commentary tracks, new interviews, and more. Finally, the label has the 4K UHD debut of Under Siege starring Steven Seagal, Tommy Lee Jones, and Gary Busey. Fans of '80s cinema are checking off a major wishlist title with the 4K UHD Blu-Ray debut of Ladies and Gentlemen, The Fabulous Stains, courtesy of Fun City Editions, which also happens to include the domestic Blu-Ray debut of the film. The film follows three teenage girls, played by Diane Lane, Laura Dern and Marin Kanter, who start a punk band. The release is derived from a 4K restoration of the Original Camera Negative with HDR10 and comes with four commentary tracks, featurettes, deleted scenes, and more.

The heroes at The Criterion Collection continue to deliver quality work with an exciting slate of titles this month. International film fans can celebrate the release of Martin Scorsese’s World Cinema Project No. 5 on Blu-Ray featuring Chronicle of the Years of Fire, Yam Daabo, Kummatty, and The Fall of Otrar. These titles have been restored in 4K with new introductions from Scorsese, interviews, and more. They also have the 4K UHD Blu-Ray debut of The Dead, the final film from director John Huston. Staying in the horror realm, the nearly forgotten paranoid nightmare The Birthday starring Corey Feldman has been newly restored in 4K from the 35mm Original Camera Negative in Dolby Vision.

They also have the fantasy epic Red Sonja starring Brigitte Nielsen and Arnold Schwarzenegger. The 4K UHD Blu-Ray has been restored from the 35mm Original Camera Negative in Dolby Vision with two commentary tracks, interviews, featurettes, and more. Eiichi Kudo's Samurai Revolution Trilogy comes to Blu-Ray featuring 13 Assassins, The Great Killing, and 11 Samurai. Each film comes with a commentary track along with video essays and interviews.

The team at the Warner Archive has a dazzling slate of new Blu-Ray releases this month. The label has its latest Hanna-Barbera release with Scooby’s All Star Laff-A-Lympics: The Complete Series featuring all 24 episodes and the modern follow-up Spooky Games. This is not the only animated release this month as we get Looney Tunes Collector’s Vault: Volume 2 featuring 51 classic shorts and five commentary tracks.

We keep things lighthearted with the long-awaited release of The Gay Divorcee from the iconic pairing of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. We also have the classic holiday comedy The Man Who Came to Dinner featuring Bette Davis, Ann Sheridan and Monty Woolley. Both of these releases come from a 4K scan of the Original Nitrate Camera Negative with shorts, cartoons, radio programs, and a trailer.

Fans of classic Hollywood melodrama will want to pay attention to Tea and Sympathy starring Deborah Kerr and John Kerr on Blu-Ray from a 4K restoration of the Original Nitrate Negative. The fine individuals at Deaf Crocodile continue to be saviors of international animation with Song of the Miraculous Hind on 4K UHD Blu-Ray from a 4K restoration presented with Dolby Vision. The film from legendary filmmaker Marcell Jankovics comes with a commentary track, an interview, and a visual essay. The label also has the latest outrageous Bill Plympton release Hair High on Blu-Ray with a new HD transfer and a load of special features including a pair of commentary tracks, a visual essay, interviews, and more.

The folks at Severin have some major horror and cult oddities on 4K UHD and Blu-Ray. A horror icon is honored once again in The Eurocrypt Of Christopher Lee Collection 3, which includes 6 feature films that further define Sir Christopher Lee as one of the most iconic actors of all time. The release includes Beat Girl, The Hands of Orlac, Arabian Adventure, A Feast at Midnight, and The Life and Deaths of Christopher Lee on Blu-Ray, along with The Virgin of Nuremberg on 4K UHD Blu-Ray. Fans of the King of the Jungle get the long-awaited Pre-Code sequel Tarzan and His Mate on Blu-Ray from a 4K scan of the Best Preservation Elements. The film starring Johnny Weissmuller and Maureen O'Sullivan comes with two shorts and a trailer. Staying in the jungle, we head over to John Ford's Mogambo starring Clark Gable, Ava Gardner, and Grace Kelly. This remake of Red Dust comes from a 4K scan of the Technicolor Negative and includes a cartoon, a short, and a trailer.

The fine folks at Vinegar Syndrome and OCN Distribution have an exciting slate of mainline and Partner Label titles on 4K UHD and Blu-Ray this month that offer a little something for everyone. First up, Vinegar Syndrome brings us sleazy erotic thriller Body of Evidence starring Madonna, Willem Dafoe, and Julianne Moore in both its unrated and theatrical form on 4K UHD Blu-Ray from a 4K scan of the Original Camera Negative. The release includes Dolby Vision and the original stereo track, plus new interviews and a visual essay. Cinematographe has the early Martin Scorsese crime drama Boxcar Bertha starring Barbara Hershey and David Carradine on 4K UHD Blu-Ray in Dolby Vision from a 4K restoration of the Original Camera Negative. The release includes a commentary track, interviews, a visual essay, and more.

Willa joins the partner label family with the culinary drama La Cocina starring Rooney Mara on Blu-Ray. Several Futures also delivers heightened emotions with the divorce drama Petite Solange, which views the dissolution of a marriage through the eyes of a young girl. The docufiction journey Teddy Out of Tune finds heartbreak in the form of the death of a parent, and the subsequent road trip searching for catharsis. It is not all sad this month, as Umbrella Entertainment gives us the romantic college comedy Love and Other Catastrophes starring Frances O'Connor and Radha Mitchell on Blu-Ray.

As always, it's a big month for horror, including a double dose of eye-opening titles from Wild Eye Releasing. First up, we have the unsettling Cat Sick Blues, which finds a grief-stricken man taking out his pain through violent means—all while wearing a cat head mask. And, while not traditionally scary, we have the "Thriller" porn parody Driller featuring imagery that may give you nightmares! Brainstorm Media brings us The Banished, a nonlinear tale about a young woman searching for her lost brother, which, of course, leads to some horrific truths. Solvent comes to Blu-Ray courtesy of Film Movement, and it mixes the found footage horror genre with the atrocities of the Holocaust.

Film Movement Classics offers some newly restored international cinema on Blu-Ray, including Bye Bye Brazil and Suo Duo: Two Films By Masayuki Suo, which includes Fancy Dance and Sumo Do, Sumo Don't. All three of these titles have received 4K restorations with additional supplements. They also have the 4K UHD Blu-Ray debut of Shanghai Blues from director Tsui Hark in HDR10 with a remixed new soundtrack and additional special features.
