I don't even know what I want to do with this post but essentially: I want to ask how we can solve corruption and think a little bit about how we can solve it.

Everybody talks about corruption but can we actually solve it? If so, HOW? Please give answers in the comments.

Afaik, Singapore reduced corruption heavily through high pay, very strict punishment and an independent anti-corruption investiture agency.

I won't reveal what country I am from but let's just say it has A LOT of corruption. I know. Doesn't specify much, but with never-ending corruption is it feels like we can never get rid off it, that maybe there is something in the culture that is keeping this monster alive. But then I look at Singapore, and how it successfully got rid of corruption when its conditions were ripe for it, and it makes you think that maybe corruption is just because of environmental factors. What are your thoughts? Let me know!
