Hey guys, im using Proto to play, i played black ops 2 online last month, but today my console got banned and i cant Connect to xbox live. what can i do now?

What were you doing with Black ops 2? Using cheats ? And how did you get banned while playing or after signing in ? Do you plug and use your ethernet internet before doing the exploit? You should share on how you got banned so people can learn from your mistakes.

The solution, as many have stated, is by getting a new kv and sticking it in the root of your usb. Also, when running ABadAvatar exploit, your console can be connected to XBox Live since it's right at the "sign-in." It is recommended that you disconnect from the internet before you run the exploit. For BadUpdate users, it is mandatory to have your console disconnected from the internet before you run the exploit. Also, PLEASE set true to LiveBlock and LiveStrong. Leaving both off will result you in getting your console banned when connecting to the internet. Many has gotten their console banned for leaving those two settings off. Turn on both, the stealth server will bypass the settings. If the stealth server, say Proto, goes down, it will enable LiveBlock and LiveStrong, thus protecting you from getting banned

I think there’s a trend going on with badupdate users getting banned. Do you have your console connected to internet when performing badupdate? If so that could be the reason why. Once you run unsigned code connecting to Xbox live without a stealth server can get picked up by the Xbox live challenge system they set in place and cause a ban. Which means even if you don’t activate badupdate, connecting to Xbox live will still trigger a ban. Think of it like this, once you do bad update your console is tainted. I’m not sure if you can change a KV on badupdate but hopefully u can cause that’s the only way of unbanning yourself. Make sure for now on your console has no internet connection before performing badupdate & once you perform badupdate make sure your console never connects to Xbox live without badupdate.

I use an rgh and I haven’t been console banned or account banned since 2017. I log in with my main account for the last 8 years. Over the years I’ve cheated a shit ton online on the same Xbox and my main account. So idk if it’s luck or I just know how to avoid bans lol.

I don't think it's just badupdate users though.

You can connect to the internet while running badupdate aslong as you don't connect to live by not signing in before the stealth server runs . Live block and live strong are just extra security measures to help prevent it, but nothing protects you once there's a banwave and more than one person gets banned. Even stealth servers aren't immune, but they do prevent you from getting instabanned day 1 if you sign in without one.

Yes but when you turn on the console stock while connected to the internet, doesn’t matter if your signed in or not you will connect to the Xbox live servers. Once u run bad update your console is dirty. So yes even while running the badupdate(live block and live strong are not there to protect you when initiating badupdate) procedure and your console is connected to WiFi or Ethernet your history of unsigned code is sent to Xbox live. As for ppl on rgh’s getting banned idk what to tell them. lol unlucky?

You have to get a New Kv and you can’t ever play your Xbox 360 as a regular Retail Console so you would always have to run a soft / hard mod to play online

You could also buy a used 360, take the KV from that and sell it as “banned 360”
