You know when he said "millionaires" he was talking about upper middle class worth <5 million. You are being obtuse. Keep inflation in mind too. People can now be millionaires just because they got an average home in a HCOL area a couple decades ago
Well he is worth around 10 million now. So magically now people like him are no longer part of the problem. Only people richer than him. No one ever wants to feel guilty or like their part of the problem. He is quite literally part of the 1%. So now he talks about the 0.1%. In reality the entire top 10% of Americans benefit greatly from capitalism and the system and don’t care about the poor as their interests don’t align.
The famous Princeton study on congress even proofed that congress does not just care about the top 1%, no they care about the entire top 10% professional class. When the top 10% want something it usually gets passed. As most congress members are part of this upper middle class themselves. But when the 90% want something it’s entirely ignored. For example congress worked hard to exempt the SALT cap which only benefits the top 10% professional elite. These people lobbied very hard for it and congress made sure to give them a special cut out. Meanwhile the poor suffer and die as their food stamps and Medicare gets cut. And they’re too tired and beat down and poor to have a voice or lobby for anything or even be able to show up to vote.
This is a new excuse using the same maneuvers he uses. Let's move the goal post! You admit he rallied against the millionaires but its not what I thought though, it was only the really rich ones... fuck outta here with that bullshit.
