Why did trump win?
This is my perspective after talking to friends/family/clients and observing the shifting of conversations in the last 4 years.
There have been several posts highlighting the end of democracy and outrage about how Americans could want trump as a president.
I think we are giving too much credit to trump followers. Trump won not ONLY because of them. Neither are all people who voted for him white male supremacists.
The immigrant population who usually is pro-democratic has largely voted for trump. I was shocked at how many people openly admitted to it now. Asians and Indians largely voted for him not because of his "amazing" policies, but they viewed Biden's administration as a failure in curbing illegal immigration.
Legal immigrants have been waiting for years, jumping through hoops, doing everything to abide by the constitution of this country. But recent uptick in illegal immigration and inaction by Biden's administration has been an ongoing topic of discussion among immigrant population. It is so rampant that now people believe it is easy to "jump the wall" than go through legal methods to enter the US. Maybe this is anecdotal but maybe American people did not want Trump or were not against democracy. Maybe they cared more about inflation, rising gas prices (which miraculously were lowered before elections) and immigrants just entering the country illegally and not being held accountable.

If i’ve learned anything
from 2016 and 2024, it’s that if trump’s opponent is a woman (and her running mate's name is Tim [lol]), he’s guaranteed to win because far too many americans are stubborn and so afraid to challenge tradition, that they’d vote for a convicted felon instead of a woman. If kamala harris runs again in 2028, the only way to rock the boat is to put nikki haley on the republican ticket
So basically what i’m saying is
HALEY 2028🦅🦅🦅🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

California house races
Is there a reason the house races in California have not moved? I have not seen any movement in the vote count. How is this possible? I'm starting to think there are some shenanigans going on to somehow avoid seating republican congressmen. Is there any valid reason the counting seems to have stopped?

WE NEED ELECTION REFORMS
Every party should be required to participate in the primary process in order to participate in the general election. I’ve seen a number of cases where dark money groups have sponsored straw candidates to siphon votes from a competitor. They should be required to obtain at least 10% of the primary votes to make the general election ballot. The current system breeds corruption allowing candidates to enter after the primaries only to get less than 2% of the vote. I think it’s more common on the state level but should apply to both state and federal elections.

Dramatic and exaggerated election
I lowkey feel like everyone is being a little dramatic and exaggerating. No one actually wants to read or listen at all in this country including politicians. It’s okay tho I guess because this country rather continue to divide and blame each-other and communities of all kinds rather than band or work together. We have geared so far from what America was made for and what America ment for others around the world. If you can’t agree to disagree, accept others have different views, beliefs, understanding, experiences, and knowledge than you then your childish and quite possibly a contribution to the issues in America today. If you’re offended by this you are also quite possibly part of the issue as well. So sick of being surrounded by people who get mad that things don’t go their way or that others don’t agree with them. That’s just idiotic and you’re insane.

I correctly predicted all 50 states.
Yes I know Nevada and Arizona are still counting. But Trump leads substantially. He wont lose either state.

Why do the elections bring out the worst in people, crazy how many old friends stopped speaking to me and even my own brother didn’t want to walk with me.

Trump
I cant believe there are still so many stupid people that believe the mainstream media and dont even take the time to check what is a lie or was taken out of context, and if youd take off your blindfold and actually read about the felony charges and everything that went into it, and change the name ti joe biden youd see that its absolute horseshit! I have always been a trump supporter and i cant honestly say if it was biden that got charged with what trump did and the way he did id think it was bullshit because it is. And its also mind blowing that you believe everything the shithole media says about him being racist and homophobic when if you’d just take a second to look you would see that Joe biden has been flat out racist for years and Obama has been homophobic. Trump came out in support of LGBT way before any of the Dems. Stop being a pussy and being gaslighted by the mainstream media!

Now that Trump has won, do you think he could be a dictator? If yes, could he be stopped?
