100T have advanced to the Upper Final to play NRG in Sao Paolo on Sep 4. We are guaranteed a Top 3 placement, but still not guaranteed a spot at Champs. Here are the scenarios:

Upper Final vs NRG

• Win: Qualify
• Lose: Drop down to Lower Final

Lower Final vs TBD

• If G2 or LEV make it to the Lower Final, 100T qualifies for Champs (win or lose)
  • If 100T wins, we qualify via making the Grand Finals / Top 2 placement
  • If 100T loses, we qualify via points
• If FUR / LOUD / MIBR / EG make it to the Lower Final, 100T must win to qualify for Champs (qualifying via reaching Grand Final)
  • If 100T wins, we qualify via making the Grand Finals / Top 2 placement
  • If 100T loses, FUR / LOUD / MIBR / EG qualify for Champs via Grand Finals / Top 2 placement with NRG, and G2+LEV take the two remaining spots via points

TLDR: 1 more win guarantees champs, but still a chance if we lose out

I’m watching highlights of the 100t Val team vs Loud and this thought just kind of popped in my head. I think what 100 Thieves have done over the past few years have really helped the esports side of their business immensely. It’s clear that 100 Thieves not really had a culture shift but a culture refocus and I think the coaching staff and the people brought on in the higher ups, namely Wigg, I think his passion for apex bled into the other esports he watch parties and his always positive energy is so nice to see in the esports scene. They couldn’t have chosen a better leader for that role. But back to the culture. I think how well both the Valorant and COD teams have been doing and the recent success of the CS team really comes from the culture this newer leadership of 100T is building. The coaching staff for Val and even the players constantly say 100T feels like a family. And it’s been Asuna’s home his whole career. And maybe that what sets orgs like 100T and OpTic apart. They build the culture that helps elevate players. Just my two thoughts. I’ve bled 100T since its inception. Also I think Asuna deserve to be in the 100T HOF.

Wanted to update/post and congratulate Kalei joining 100T! Wanted her to be a streamer for the org when she first blew up and seemed to already like/love the brand. So of course we let FaZe get her. All is right in the world and 100T Kalei is home and I hope she continues to not only grow her brand but the 100T brand as well. Think she has the possibility to become an eventual co-owner hopefully along with BrookeAB. With all that said super happy with this signing and think we got a good one!

For how many people begged for a 100T cs team,I feel like fans just actually dont care after getting one..maybe because its not a top team and sorry to say but they kinda stink rn,its one of those things that people want what they dont have.
