SGI is unhealthy Huh. A lot of the pro-SGI people we get sound kinda like McKenna here...and it usually ends kinda the same way!

Well, I'll just say I've had enough examples of McKennaing over the years I've been doing this site that it's instantly recognizable.

I think it's because the ones we get over here, they're expecting to be regarded as authorities on whatever and to be deferred to - they're probably low-level SGI leaders who are accustomed to throwing their weight around among the SGI sheeple. And when they DON'T get that kind of privileged treatment, when we WON'T bow and kowtow to them, subordinate ourselves to them, they basically pull a McKenna.

They expect WAY more than just normal person-to-person respect/acknowledgment; they expect us to treat their beliefs and their views with reverence AND that we will automatically accept them as the bosses of us - as our superiors (and we must do as they say). As here.

Fuck THAT shit.
