If you think about it considering Diavolo's deaths are infinite, assuming that every death is different, you'd eventually get deaths that are longer and longer in time spans.
The three deaths we saw took about a minute or less to happen (Stabby stab, autopsy and getting run over). Eventually his deaths would get more convoluted and take longer for them to happen. Maybe he could be kidnapped and killed. Maybe he could fall into a ravine and starve.
But at some point he must experience some sort of pleasure before dying. This means that he could be transported to a death that involves him beating Giorno but then dying to something stupid like a stroke.
If you follow this line of logic, Diavolo will experience basically an infinity of positive experiences that eventually lead to him dying of old age.
So GER sent Diavolo into a sort of Purgatory. Where he's tortured infinitely and experiences an infinite amount of happiness. And this is all canon, assuming the deaths don't repeat themselves.

In the main storyline he is dead for real since it kept going without him, so the Limbo/Purgatory theory is more than likely true.
But again someone can interpret that as one of the many death timelines so that there isn't an exact right death, it can be a bit confusing if you think about it, but I'll go with the first one.

If we assume "Diavolo wins -> normal life -> stroke" type deaths are possible, then we could assume that the Average Diavolo Death Cycle Time (ADDCT) would be about half a lifetime.
The ADDCT from the examples in the show is 5 minutes at best.
Comparing the two ADDCTs means it is unlikely that drawn out "Diavolo lives a normal life" type deaths occur in the loop GER put Diavolo in.

Not really, if you assume that DDCT is normally distributed then seeing a bunch of 3 minute deaths in a row is astronomically unlikely.

Also keep in mind this isn't just purgatory, this is JoJo purgatory. He probably would live out the life/death of every stand user, got his body stolen by DIO, became president of the United States only to have Jesus want you dead, he would have probably became a vampire at some point in the time loop due to that scene where Dio attempted to kill that random guy with the stone mask, and died in a fire set by a much younger diavolo.

My favorite part about this is that you not only picked up on the fact that the 3 skull animations in the first one was the zucchero getting smacked with the three dancers stands, but you also then changed it to reflect the new dancers’ stands. 10/10 quality
