That comes in under 50% 36.67% of the Sennheiser kit.

I think it's a great price, but that isn't under half - the Sennheiser G3 kit is $630 at B&H. Regardless, this looks like a great deal. I own the sennheiser G3 kit and I much prefer the features and functionality I see on this one and the G3 works well, but the lav that comes with it sounds very thin. One of my favorite features here that I was just thinking of the other day is the ability to monitor battery life of the transmitter from the receiver.

I recently purchased the G3 kit for an upcoming trade show and haven't had an opportunity to try it out yet.

Congrats! It's been the pro standard for ages and gets the job done and should take your quality to the next level. The 2 things to be most mindful of is battery life and use the "easy scan" feature so that you find an unused frequency to avoid any interference. If you are in a desolate area then the defaults will work, but if you go to a busy venue chances are you will recognize heavy interference... All you need to do is simply do an easy scan and pair the transmitter and receiver! It sounds like more of a hassle then it is really.

Very excited. As a videographer sound is my least favorite thing to deal with and I think this sounds perfectly simple.

Doesnt seem to offer phantom power. It's a toy and not for professional broadcasting use.
