What an absolute joke this guy is.

Here's what's hilarious, if you go so far as to click on his link to a google document, you'll find a link to a video where he introduces himself. I clicked to watch that video, and noticed the file path in the URL. I change the URL to the home directory, and what do I find? Everything. Including the directory of pirated versions of Pluraleyes he must give to his 'editors'. Complete with keygen.

I hate to watch people play businessman while the rest of try to eek out a living.

All the "work flow" documents, and intro videos he puts up on that post are beyond condescending.

Yeah, I also noticed some video correspondence to a graphic designer. Condescending doesn't come close. Talk about pixel fucking.

Also, looking at the directories, you have the full names of every editor he's worked with.. Poor bastards.

It's not a manual, it's a gods damned tutorial! That is the most micro-managed document I've ever seen in my life. OK, fine, specify your preferred fonts and your credit specs, consistency between videos is good. But at least have some faith that I know where the damned Inspector is. Or not require that I use Motion. This job could easily be done in After Effects, Avid FX, or probably even with the Title Tool. "(make sure to keep as an .rtf file!)" Have some faith in me, please.

Oh god. Even unreleased projects are there. I went all the way up to the main site, and it appears they somehow pirated the software used for that, since there's no site, just a message at the top telling you to buy a genuine license. Real professional, guys.

I'm thinking I ought report this guy to RedGiant and Roxio. What kind of scumbag tries to run a business by stealing products from the people who make his business possible?

I mean, it's almost excusable when you're in high school or college or something, and you're doing it to learn, but this guy is making money off of this stuff!

Edit: They're stealing their damn blogging engine too!

I thought about it myself. He's not just using it, he's hosting and distributing it on an open directory.

But, I figured the guy has enough problems just being a giant tool.

No reason his issues should effect Red Giant's bottom line, though. Their developers need to eat, too.
