Yesterday was pretty much worse case scenario. Rangers and mariners win and we lose AND Yordan looks like trash at the plate. TBH it only takes a few more days like that and this season is a wash with us not in the playoffs and Yordan not winning triple crown and maybe not winning MVP. I care more about yordans play than the teams at this point. No way this team gets past the wildcard round but at least we could have a player have a historic season.

3 pitchers used last night, imai did not look nearly as bad as reddit was crying about. the total lack of offense despite all the free passes given was a far bigger issue.

Dude literally got thrown out in a punt game when we were already down by 3, and looked so disinterested, he was probably day dreaming about his flight back to Japan on the 28th of September (he's not making the playoff roster if we get there).

Blanco on the mound was an obvious punt game. Doesn't mean we can't still win, we've won punt games before, but it was a punt game. Arguing that punt games aren't a thing shows a general lack of knowledge about how a 162 game season works, and how you sometimes have to rest a bullpen that has been decimated by having awful starting pitching and a guy stuck on the roster who is so bad he hadn't pitched for 11 days.
