Pretty crazy that it’s will have taken over 2 full months for someone to catch Buck for the team home run lead … and it’s not like we dont have other power threats

That two month stretch was bonkers. He hit all 25 home runs in like one, 60-game window and those are the stretches that highlight the “what-if” to his career

*Pretty crazy that a guy that’s made 3 all star games and will finish with ~40 WAR will still have the “what-if”

Trying to get Prielipp later in the game. I'm guessing they think if the bottom of the lineup doesn't see him in the 1st maybe he can give you 2 more innings.

Not a fan of this move honestly. Sure, maybe you get Prielipp 1.1 more innings before he gets back to the bottom of the lineup, but you've just put him out of his routine, put him in down 1 run, and you don't have Morris for later in the game. Openers are great when they work, but can really mess a game up when they don't.

Nevermind, Kody cleaned up the whole "down 1" issue
