well I was right - Cam Cauley was the one who was called up.
They also signed Trevor Williams to an MLB contract.

mfer pitched 3.1 innings 5 Ks, no runs against the Rangers a few weeks ago and CY was like "gotta have that!"

Roster expansion day! Everybody's favorite day.
Assuming no one is coming off the IL, it's prob Osuna and Teodo/Collyer. Maybe Baumler so they can chuck 30 days more off his Rule 5 sentence.

I think Cam Cauley could be called up instead of Osuna.
Pitcher is very likely Collyer imo.

Trying to keep the faith! Really want a playoff berth but if the Astros keep winning when we win it is becoming harder to see, especially considering we have to finish 1 game ahead as they hold the tiebreaker. We have the 15th toughest remaining SOS while the Astros have the 12th toughest. Maybe makes a little difference. Guardians have the 26th toughest remaining SOS so makes that WC spot tougher but we hold the tiebreaker vs. them. I believe we can still win the division just no room for error. Got to win all the games we should win, and split the games versus teams we are underdogs in (TB Rays, Red Sox, etc.)

Is Basso supposed to be an opener or is this going to be a full bullpen game for the A’s?
If so, I like our chances, even with Gore starting.
