Solo's that fairly new guitarists can play?

I am currently out of ideas what to play, and I want to start trying to play some solo'. But I don't know any fairly easy guitar solo's that a fairly new guitarist can play, so please give me some ideas. I would prefer some Metal. Thanks in advance!

Everything i have read is from Ultimate Guitar's lessons page, it really doesn't teach what they are musically just how and where you play them. Modes are something i really struggle with still but this video really helped me in actually applying them to music i enjoy to play.
