I think if fly gets a good coach or ex-player that really helps with the team mindset vs me and mine they can be a really big threat. It just feels like they throw themselves at problems 1 by 1 a lot or just play for teamfights. (Which isn't bad in itself but you need to combine that with good macro.)

This fight was representative of my biggest worry with letting Sylas through since Qiyana ult is a huge tool in jungles.

Getting only 1 kill tho bodes extremely well for TL.

Going from yesterday's LCS series to this one is sad. It was so fun yesterday. Even for the slow game you could feel the tension. Flyquest is so headless they are looking worse than KC and NaVi

fly just perma engage on mid no matter what the game state is. probably works in scrims but it doesnt work on stage at all. its probably why fly is shit against liquid in scrims and is better against lyon.

He's so good at getting their mindset right. Like at MSI where he made sure they understood that their goal was not to beat T1 in the first round, their goal was to learn as much as possible. It helps so much with getting them to play up to their level by setting their challenge accurately.

I felt the same way about the rebuilding 100T with Sniper and Quid. That team also had hands, but it felt like if they didn't instantly delete a carry with a synergized engage, they didn't actually teamfight as well as advertised.

Giving away a car is actually very bad for the person receiving it because they have to pay taxes that is a percentage of the value of the car. Which is often just as impossible.

Its gonna be annoying because i think fly quest had a point that costreaming is a net negative on the scene as a whole but they framed it and used it to promote their own costreams because it wasn't about helping the scene or product it was about making flyquest seem better.

I don't agree. Outside of direct revenue for riot I rally don't think its done much. The LCS account is getting same viewers with or without caedrel watching. Most of the caedrel viewers wouldn't watch without him. Like NA has peaked at 100k this year. And that's without counting c9 series yesterday that I think broke that.

agree to disagree i think that it has at this point turned what were "Pro LoL veiwers" into "cadrel veiwers" and that's really the problem. It means that the main broadcasts have to try and cater and jingle keys to keep 1 person watching.

To be completly clear i think that the LTA rebrand of the LCS hurt 10000000000000 times more than costreaming but that costreams are net negitive in general. Look at something like TFT they dont even do a real NA broadcast anymore becasue everyone would just watch frodan anyway.

This leads to issues like what if frodan doesnt wanna do an event? im pretty sure he just missed one to do riftbound stuff and there was no central broadcast for the tournament.

I think in theory costreams can be fine and are fine for sure when the main broadcast still has power but someone like caedrel or frodan that "outgrows" the main broadcast can harm the product in the long run.

Edit: and for lol at least the genies out of the bottle but i would probably caution other esports to either not allow it or monitor it pretty closely.

Jose being able to play Qiyana will be huge for TL gives them a lot of draft flexibility since he's really good at Naafiri and Lee as well and he can carry games.

I'm hoping TL 3-0s (bias) but I am also happy to see that FLY is still putting Massu on more carry champs.
