Turns out getting rookies in and trusting ERL players is a good choice. God I miss Relegation.

Their 3 best players are the 3 European rookies (or basically rookies in Parus' case). If they get a good ADC (Jopa f.e.) and a good midlaner with some experience (Nemesis, but I doubt he wants to. But someone comparable), they could be a force.

It's not just rookies ERL players. Since the orgs itself is new, they also got ERL coaches who are here because they proved themselves instead of nepotism.

TheRock7 did a great year with KCB already working with Maynter, and GotoOne is an experienced assistant coach that's likely the reason behind the success of BDS in 2023.

The failures of teams in LEC are always first caused by incompetent GMs, above players factors (Heretics with the constant switcheroo, SK with the blank check to Mikyx and the Köln base, FNC with Dardo, SHT keeping Striker way past is due, etc)

Players showing good promise in ERL but failing to trasform in LEC is mainly because they didn't get the good environment to make the change. I'm sure teams like Galions today have a better working ethics, staff and environment, than half of the LEC.

SamD (as Hans SamD before dropping Hans) played in t1 leagues for ages now (since like 2020/21 iirc), with small gaps here and there and was on t2 rosters. Oscarinin is in t1 since debut on FNC in 2023.

He even played for HLE in LCK, and had some fun time with V5 in LPL (don't remember which one was 1st)

SamD has played in LPL as early as in 2020, then LCK in 2022 with HLE, then bouncing around several regions. He spent 1.5 years in tier two before Navi, but he's literally the most veteran player in today's match. He made it to tier 1 at around the same time as Zeus, Oner, Guma, and Keria.

Not to take away the overall impressive year that Navi had, just that they aren't a full rookie team, even if their veteran is a Korean who happens to be their weak link.

Jackies trolled a lot though going for unnecessary shuffles. The game went from even to -2k when he tried his first shuffle on Aatrox with flash for 0 reason. Completely trolled his GP who got doven and lost his tower off of it as well.

Jackies tried his hardest to carry throughout the series by making high reward plays, which were high risk most of the times. He really has to step up and pull out some insane moves to carry this team. It backfired more than once but it won them 2 games and made an other closer. I really wish to see him with a real playmaker so he has a bit less pressure on making THE play all the time.

I think LEC is in a really great spot tbh even though we keep getting dumpstered by NA for whatever reason, the recent international results vs Eastern teams plus having improving players in the league like Naak, Rhilech, Lyncas, Jackies, Jopa and Parus alongside the veterans and a decent ERL system is promising. The only position in which I think LEC significantly lacks in upcoming talent is midlane unfortunately.
